Bonus Chapter: The Queen's Visit: Clash of Empires – An Exercise and Real Combat! Part 1

On the Conqueror, the first fleet of the Tajik flag nation.

"Good heavens! What is that?!"

Upon receiving the news, the senior officers who rushed from the command room to the deck stared in astonishment at the sky ahead.

It was as if I had been struck by lightning; my body became stiff.

Even the usually composed Mike's expression changed drastically. He abruptly took off his sunglasses and stared intently at the unknown object floating in the sky.

"What the hell?! What is that thing?!"

"Monster?!" an officer exclaimed in panic, his face pale.

When the word "monster" was uttered, the soldiers on the ship gradually panicked, as they had never seen such an unidentified object appear in the sky before.

And it certainly does look like some kind of monster.

Mike glared at the officer and cursed:

"Shut up! You idiot!"

"Is your brain filled with shit?! How can there be a monster in it?!"

As he spoke, he hurriedly took the binoculars handed to him by his deputy, Missouri.

As he got a clearer view, Mike broke out in a cold sweat: "Damn it! What the hell is that?!"

The officers around him were also observing, but none of them had ever seen such an aerial spectacle.

While everyone was making wild guesses and offering their opinions, Missouri frowned and gave a more reasonable guess:

"It looks...like some kind of balloon."

Mike frowned and said in a deep voice, "But how could there be such a big balloon, and in such a spindle shape... and it couldn't possibly have this kind of mobility either."

As soon as he finished speaking, Missouri said nervously:

"Sir, whatever it is, these things are moving towards us!"

"It feels...very dangerous!"

In fact, even before Missouri spoke, everyone had already sensed the approaching danger.

Mike put down his binoculars, his mind racing, and gritted his teeth, saying:

"Damn it! Did those bastards already discover our operation?!"

These words sent chills down everyone's spines.

A thought suddenly flashed through Missouri's mind, and she said urgently:

"Sir! Someone has leaked information?!"

As Missouri said this, a figure flashed through her mind, but she quickly dismissed it.

Finks never left the camp, nor did he see any Yan Kingdom patrol ships approach.

The entire operation was kept secret, making it impossible for Yan Kingdom to discover it.

Especially during the journey from yesterday until now.

They didn't even see any of the Yan Kingdom's warships in sight; they had already withdrawn back to the dock.

But these strange unidentified objects were clearly prepared by the Yan Kingdom.

This is enough to prove that they already knew that their side would launch an attack today.

But how did they know that?

"Sir! Sir!" A colonel rushed over: "General Hansen has requested permission to terminate the operation."

As soon as he finished speaking, the other officers all turned their gazes to Mike, their eyes filled with fear.

This incredible aerial behemoth had cast a shadow of unease over them.

Missouri chimed in, "Sir, it seems the Yan people were prepared. We might have to..."

However, Mike sternly stopped him:

"No!"

"Continue with the operational plan!"

"Yes, sir!"

No one raised any objections, because General Mack's instructions were always correct.

"No matter what tricks they're playing, no matter how dangerous those damned things are, we must win!"

"We must break through the defenses and launch a landing operation!" Mike said resolutely.

"Yes, sir!" the crowd responded in unison, though none of them were truly confident.

But Mike wasn't being arbitrary; he simply had no choice but to act now that the die was cast.

Moreover, those unidentified objects were already approaching the fleet's airspace.

They are much faster than warships.

“Sir, we need to get back to the cabin first.” Missouri said with a worried expression. As soon as he finished speaking, Mike strode towards the cabin, and the officers quickly followed.

On his way back to the cabin, Mike was drenched in sweat, his heart pounding wildly.

Although it is unknown how dangerous these flying objects may be.

But the fact that it can appear in the sky already shows that it is advanced enough!

In other words, the Yan people not only made ample preparations, but also brought out new weapons that had been kept secret for a long time!

So... have they taken any further measures?

Mike dared not think about this problem in detail.

It is definitely not a wise thing to let yourself be gripped by fear because a great war is imminent.

But as he descended the stairs, he couldn't help but slam his fist against the ship's side, angrily cursing:

"That bastard Hansen! How could his intelligence gathering work have such a huge oversight!"

"Didn't the Yan Kingdom people discover this strange thing beforehand?!"

"Damn it! What has he been doing these past few months?! Even our operation plan has been leaked!"

The officers remained silent, their hearts pounding with unease, and a sense of unease began to spread throughout the cabin.

On the deck, the soldiers at all posts were now completely gripped by fear.

They hid their bodies in various corners that were not visible from above.

It looks just like a mouse cowering in the grass or crevices of rocks after hearing the cry of an eagle.

It felt as if I was being watched by a sharp eagle eye, and that I would be caught and lose my life in the next second.
