Li Ming was tricked into a novice village all by himself, and he can no longer leave. However, people keep falling into it.
The Little Dragon Girl whose acupoints were sealed.
Founding ...
Wu Xiao briefly explained the situation. They entered the first alley of the retirement village and learned that this was the forbidden area of Lei Ze.
The village chief's wife had a throbbing headache. She rubbed her temples and said:
"I finally remembered. I fought with the scholar in the sinkhole and then quickly returned to the retirement village. I saw a red-haired monster sneaking around in the alley, so I chased after it and followed it all the way to the Thunder Swamp Forbidden Land."
"And then?" Wu Xiao pressed.
The village elder said in a deep voice, "I fought with that red-haired monster for a while, and then the red-haired monster disappeared. Just as I was about to leave, I was hit by something with a stick. After that, I don't know what happened, and I ended up here. I always feel like I've become that red-haired monster. I'm in a daze and don't know what I'm doing."
She felt terrified just thinking about it; it was too outrageous.
The woodcutter asked, "What does that red-haired monster look like?"
The village chief's wife only gave a brief description, saying that the thing looked like a monkey, without going into too much detail, but she had a bad feeling about it.
If it were just that he looked like a monkey, she wouldn't have pursued him so relentlessly.
She thought the monkey looked like the young master.
That's why she chased after them regardless of the consequences.
However, she didn't intend to talk about it and kept it to herself.
"We shouldn't stay here any longer; let's go back to the village." The village chief, Granny, looked at the five towering mountains before her, a sense of dread creeping in, and said:
"This thing seems to possess a mysterious power that we cannot defeat."
Wu Xiao said, "This is Li Ming."
The village chief's wife was stunned, her face full of question marks: "Is it a hand?"
Wu Xiao briefly explained to his mother-in-law that he was still trapped in a strange place and could not come out. He could only exert part of his power. This time, he was able to find his mother-in-law entirely thanks to Li Ming.
Taking this opportunity, Wu Xiao planned to try and win Li Ming's favor.
It is said that he risked his life and went through countless hardships to finally find his mother-in-law.
Li Ming almost believed what they said.
The scholar and woodcutter beside him kept rolling their eyes, thinking that Wu Xiao was really talking nonsense, even though it looked very simple.
The village chief's wife said thank you very much. If it weren't for Li Ming, she would have really died here. She cupped her hands and thanked him, saying, "Senior Li, I will never forget your life-saving grace."
"Grandma, if we're not familiar with each other, just call me Li Ming." Besides, he's not that old. Li Ming relayed a message to her.
Wu Xiao held her mother-in-law's hand and said with a smile, "Yes, Mother-in-law, don't be so polite, you can just call him Li Ming."
The mother-in-law rolled her eyes and tapped her forehead: "Don't give me that silly grin. You never reply to my letters. I've written it down in my little notebook. I'll deal with you when I get back."
Wu Xiao chuckled, shook her arm, and wrinkled her nose like a little girl.
The village chief's wife was truly amazed by her. Despite her advanced age, she still acted like a little girl in front of her, without feeling ashamed at all.
The scholar and the woodcutter both breathed a sigh of relief. They had thought that when the old woman saw Wu Xiao, she would twist her ear and beat her up. Now it seemed that they had worried too much.
Li Ming withdrew his hand.
The scholar and the woodcutter began to observe this "garbage dump," where there were piles of corpses, piled up for who knows how many years. They decided to see if there were any treasures.
Seeing this, the village chief and Wu Xiao also searched around.
They found Sumeru rings, bracelets, anklets, small bells, jingles, large cauldrons, and jewels, etc., but everything was broken and covered with cracks, but it was better than nothing.
Take everything you can.
The scholar and the woodcutter originally wanted to find the axe from the headless corpse and take it with them, but they couldn't find it and didn't know where it had gone.
The village chief's grandmother is picking at the dragon's scales.
Wu Xiao looked around, hoping to find some rare treasures, but all he found were broken magical artifacts, and even the tiles he saw were tattered and broken.
There's nothing good here.
Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly turned around as if possessed, picked up the small broken tile, saw nothing special about it, but still put it into his Sumeru Ring.
So I went to help my mother-in-law remove the dragon scales, but as soon as I removed one, the "garbage dump" seemed to come alive, especially the dragon which opened its eyes.
His gaze shifted, his eyes bloodshot, and a roar erupted.
Wu Xiao, the village chief, the woodcutter, and the scholar quickly flew towards the outside of the Leize Forbidden Area.
A large group of "corpses" followed behind.
Fortunately, as they chased after them, Lei Ze unleashed a thunderbolt that enveloped the area, causing the corpses to stop in their tracks and gradually be engulfed by the lightning. Everything returned to calm.
They followed the alley back to the retirement village.
The two divine judges quickly stepped forward, looking left and right. There was no sign of bleeding. They examined Wu Xiao's body by feeling his pulse and found nothing abnormal, so they breathed a sigh of relief.
The villagers outside gathered around, offering words of comfort and asking what had happened inside.
The village chief's wife smiled and described everything that had happened, especially the red-haired monster, saying that if it appeared again in the future, one should not act rashly and should remember to call her.
After he finished speaking, he told everyone to disperse and go home.
The village chief's wife took Wu Xiao and the two fortune tellers back to her home.
Seeing that they were all safe, Li Ming told Wu Xiao that they would talk later, and was about to close the Boundless Bowl when his mother-in-law suddenly said:
"Tomorrow around noon, I plan to tell Xiaoxiao about the secrets of the retirement village. You can listen too."
Li Ming was genuinely interested in the secrets of the retirement village.
Since she's willing to talk, Li Ming will definitely listen.
He then closed the Boundless Bowl, stood up, stretched, and said, "What a fulfilling day."
He plans to go out and get some exercise.
