Bonnie brought out another fruit platter. Her family had no shortage of dried fruit and preserves; not only did Sister-in-law Gu send them back, but Brother Wenze, Sister-in-law Zhang, and the family she often bought preserves from also sent her quite a lot.

Bonnie would also buy some local specialties from Beijing and send them over each time, establishing a business relationship with that fruit preserve tycoon.
