The family of four spent their time on the train eating and sleeping, and after two days and two nights, they finally arrived safely in Beijing.

As soon as Xia Qingqing stepped out of the train station, she took a deep breath of fresh air and felt as if she had finally come back to life.

When she got off the train, the smell from the crowded train was incredibly strong. It wasn't just other people who smelled bad; she felt like she was about to go bad herself.

Zhang Hongyan handed the water bottle to her daughter with heartache: "Qingqing, drink some water quickly, and take a good bath when we get home."

She knew that Xia Qingqing was always very clean and wanted to take a bath every day even in winter, let alone in summer. It would be really difficult for her to go two days without taking a bath.

They are currently resting in the main hall of the courtyard. There are two side rooms on each side of the main hall. The side room on the west side is her room, while the side room on the east side is reserved for Zhang Hongyan and her companion.

"Wow, I'll go take a look!" Gou Dan cheered and ran out of the main room. He had only had his own room for a short time, and he never expected that he could now choose his own room.

After watching Zhang Hongyan and the others go into the room to unpack their luggage, Xia Qingqing, having nothing else to do, decided to go for a walk.

Her main purpose was to find a place to call Song Ze and tell him that her whole family had come to Beijing, something she hadn't mentioned to him beforehand.

Back home, it was inconvenient not having a phone, but now that she's in Beijing, if she doesn't say anything, it seems like she's not taking Song Ze, her boyfriend, seriously at all.

After the call connected, Xia Qingqing briefly explained the situation.

"Uncle Xia and Auntie are here? Why didn't you tell me sooner? I could have come to pick you up," Song Ze said with some annoyance on the other end of the phone.
