Chapter 94 A kiss from someone feels like cupping therapy.

Shen Fenghua has one advantage: she doesn't court disaster. In addition, she is sensible and knows what's important. If she can get Qi Ye to speak with a serious face, then the matter must be serious.

She frowned slightly and nodded. "I understand. Don't worry, I'll definitely be careful when I'm out and about."

"Um."

After cleaning the chicken and putting it in the well to keep it calm, Qi Ye still felt it wasn't enough, so he went back to the kang (heated brick bed) that night and started cleaning up Chen Fenghua.

Shen Fenghua: "?"

What's going on?

In a moment of distraction, Shen Fenghua collapsed onto the kang (a heated brick bed). Qi Ye, not content with his actions, began tickling her, asking, "What did you just say to me?"

Shen Fenghua suppressed her laughter, tears welling in her eyes. She kept shaking her head. Qi Ye controlled his pace, and seeing that Shen Fenghua was about to burst out laughing, he gently lowered his head and kissed her lips.

Shen Fenghua was furious. "You've come to my doorstep, I'll bite you to death!"

The night was still, and a single lamp swayed slowly, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. In the middle of the night, the wind picked up and blew out the candle. A light drizzle began to fall outside the window.

The next morning, while Shen Fenghua was still asleep on the kang (a heated brick bed), Qi Ye's powerful biological clock had already woken him up. Looking at Shen Fenghua lying beside him with a peaceful and beautiful sleeping face, Qi Ye felt like he had inexhaustible energy.

The few green plants in the yard were washed clean by the drizzle and turned a vibrant green. The five chicks were all comfortably sheltered from the rain in their coop, while Big Yellow was perched under the eaves, wagging its tail, its ears perked up, looking out with a contented expression.

The air was fresh and clean.

"Xiao Qi, you're awake." Grandma was already up and starting to cook. Qi Ye was a little embarrassed to see that Grandma was up so early. "Grandma, why are you up so early? It's raining today, and there's nothing to do. Why don't you sleep a little longer?"

Grandma smiled and waved her hand, "I'm getting old, I don't get that much sleep anymore. But you, why are you up so early?"

Seeing that Qi Ye's lips were red and swollen, and that some parts were broken, Grandma asked with concern, "What happened to your lips?"

Qi Ye felt embarrassed, but maintained a calm demeanor on the surface.

Without showing any emotion, he said, "It's nothing, I've just been a little feverish lately, it's probably from taking a hot compress."

“By the way,” Qi Ye thought for a moment, “the army will probably be very busy lately. I’ll probably be leaving early and coming home late every day. Don’t worry, Grandma.”

"Are we going on a mission?"

"Okay," Qi Ye said, revealing all he could. "You can take care of the children and do whatever you need to do. You don't need to wait for me."

"Okay," Grandma looked at Qi Ye and earnestly instructed, "Be careful in everything."

"Um."

Indeed, he left early and returned late. By the time Shen Fenghua woke up, Qi Ye was nowhere to be found. She slowly got up, already beginning to doubt Qi Ye's infertility. Who could be infertile and yet be so restless?

But then I thought, even if I can't give birth, I still can't give birth.

It doesn't seem to say that you absolutely can't do anything reckless.

The more she thought about it, the more confused she became. When she came to her senses, Shen Fenghua was speechless. She had no idea what was wrong with her so early in the morning, and what kind of nonsense she was thinking about!

"Grandma?" The aroma of food wafted out. Looking at the two brothers who had already washed up, Shen Fenghua glanced around the yard, somewhat puzzled. "Where's Qi Ye?"

"He's been busy these past few days, and it's said he'll most likely be leaving early and coming home late."

Grandma glanced at the sky, seeing that it was gloomy outside and she didn't know when it would rain. She hurriedly urged, "Don't just stand there like an idiot. Hurry up, wash your face, brush your teeth, and eat. Before it rains, hurry up and go to work."

True, nobody wants to get soaked to the bone.

Just as they started eating, a sudden downpour began outside. The rain was heavy and pouring. Shen Fenghua said with a bitter face, "Oh no, Grandma, I'm probably going to get soaked this time."

Grandma glanced at the torrential rain outside, then at her granddaughter's pained expression. After hesitating for a long time, she blurted out, "How about we don't go today? We can just say I'm feeling unwell and you can't get away?"

Shen Fenghua was stunned for a moment, then confused. What was going on? When she was a child, even if it was hailing from the sky, her grandmother would still wear straw sandals, roll up her trousers, and put on a raincoat to take her to school.

She used to be truly dedicated to her work, rain or shine, but now everyone's teaching her to skip work.

Meeting Shen Fenghua's smiling gaze, Grandma was clearly a little unsure of herself, and coughed lightly, "Well, we'll handle this as a special case."

"Alright!" Shen Fenghua put a piece of pickled vegetables on her grandmother's plate. "You should eat your meal quickly. This rain may look fierce, but it might stop soon."

She has been resting for a long time; any further rest would be somewhat inappropriate.

Now that things have settled down, she personally doesn't want any changes to occur.

Shen Fenghua's casual remark to comfort her grandmother came true at the end of the meal; the rain indeed stopped.

The sky was a clear, bright blue, and a gentle breeze swept by, dispelling the sweltering heat of the past few days.

Shen Fenghua grabbed her umbrella and bag, saying, "Grandma, I'm leaving now!"

Of course, Shen Fenghua didn't forget the two little ones either. Before leaving, she hugged the two children and gave them a loud kiss on the forehead. Thinking that she couldn't favor one over the other, she ran back and gave her grandmother a big kiss, despite her grandmother's horrified expression.

Then, with a flourish, he wiped his mouth and said, "Grandma, I'm really leaving this time!"

Grandma, her mouth watering, was both amused and exasperated. "Go away, go away. You're like an enemy to me every day."

After Shen Fenghua left, Grandma touched her face, looking happy, but muttering to herself, "That brat, she's grown up and gotten stronger. That kiss on my cheek stung so badly, like a cupping jar."

Shen Fenghua made the right move. Just as she was about to reach the steel factory, a sudden downpour started. Fortunately, she was only a few meters away from the bicycle shed, and when she rushed in, she only got a little wet.
