"It's not serious. The doctor said it will heal in half a month, so you don't need to worry."

Lin Qingyan wanted to buy ingredients for the banquet and also take her mother-in-law and Lin Zhiheng out for a walk.

After going outside, Granny Lin was agile and walked briskly, faster than Lin Qingyan and Lin Zhiheng, and soon she left them far behind.

As long as Lin Qingyan kept her mother-in-law within her sight, she had nothing to worry about.

Because Grandma Lin is cleaner and dressed better than before, many people don't recognize her.

An old bachelor in his fifties standing by the roadside stared at her, wondering when such a beautiful old lady had appeared in their village.

Then he stepped on the old man's hand again, and the old man cried out in pain and stood up abruptly.

Having witnessed Granny Lin's ferocity, the old man dared not provoke her further. He covered the spot where he had been kicked with one hand, then realized it was a sensitive area and, fearing others would see, covered his buttocks, clamped his legs together, and ran away in an awkward posture.

Lin Qingyan was worried that the old man would bully Granny Lin, but when she saw Granny Lin thoroughly humiliate the old man, her movements were so cool and efficient, she gave Granny Lin a thumbs up from afar.

Grandma Lin winked at Lin Qingyan after receiving the maid's praise.

After the three of them arrived in the county town, Lin Qingyan went to the post office to mail the manuscript. When she passed by the photo studio again, Lin Qingyan looked at her younger brother and mother-in-law beside her. They had an extra person in their family, and they should commemorate it.

She pulled Grandma Lin aside: "Grandma, let's take a picture together as a trio."

"Okay," Grandma Lin agreed with a smile.

As always, she would agree with everything Lin Qingyan wanted to do.

They went into the photo studio together. Grandma Lin looked around curiously. When she saw the photos on the wall, she suddenly seemed to remember something, but she couldn't recall it because there was no tangible image in her mind.

Lin Qingyan told the photographer that it was a group photo of the three of them, and Lin Zhiheng quickly pulled Grandma Lin away: "Grandma, let's start taking the picture."

Grandma Lin continued to stare at the photos on the wall. Lin Zhiheng called out to her again, "Grandma, we're going to take a picture. Come over here quickly."
