Company Commander Sun assigned four herbs to the first herb-gathering team, four to the second herb-gathering team, and five to the third herb-gathering team using a random allocation method.

No one had any objections. Herb gathering wasn't a competition; there was no winner or loser. It didn't really matter which team had more people or which had fewer.

Lin Qingyan and Xu Xinning were both in the third herb-gathering team. Coincidentally, Lin Sisi was also assigned to the third herb-gathering team, along with Sister Yang.

Lin Sisi said to Xu Xinning, "Dr. Xu, I've finished the medicine you prescribed. I was planning to go to the hospital to see you, but I didn't because I had to come here to collect herbs.
