Du Gang touched his face. "Brother Zhou, I have news about my son! It's so wonderful! You have no idea how much I've suffered these past few days!" He then buried his face in the man's shoulder and began to cry. "My wife hasn't said anything, but you have no idea how lifeless her eyes are all day. It terrifies me. I'm so afraid that one day she'll be gone!" He sobbed. "So I was thinking about whether we should have another child, that way it can distract me." He wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes. He hadn't even thought he would cry, and then he continued.

"Then you didn't see that look in my eyes, it scared me so much I immediately wilted!"

Hu Youli chuckled, then quickly covered his mouth. Only after he stopped laughing did he speak.

"Look at you, so pathetic! How could you let a woman scare you like that!"

"Brother-in-law, you don't understand. You only understand this when you face it yourself. It's no use telling you anything!" Du Gang continued to cry, like a wronged child.

They saw a burly man crying in front of them, and while they felt sorry for him, they were mostly amused.

It's because he's so big and burly that no one can feel sorry for him.

Lu Zhixia arrived downstairs at this moment and saw two staff members from the law enforcement office, a man and a woman.

When Luo Cheng saw Lu Zhixia arrive, he quickly waved to her before speaking to Zhu Hong.

"The child has been found, and we should be able to bring him back in the next day or two."

"Found it? Where did you find it?" Zhu Hong grabbed the man's arm and held him tightly.

Zhu Hong said, "You better tell me right now what to say."

Luo Cheng looked at Lu Zhixia, "This case can be solved thanks to you!"

Luo Cheng, "Is Zhou An'an from the Huadong Road Law Enforcement Office your friend?"

Zhu Hong collapsed to the ground, unable to stop crying and laughing. Her son had finally been found.

She wished she could fly to her son's side right now.

Lu Zhixia reached out and helped the person up. "Remember not to be overjoyed or sad. Calm yourself down first. The child still needs your care!"

Zhu Hong nodded heavily to indicate that she understood and that she must hold on and wait for her son to return.

Luo Cheng said to Lu Zhixia, "I talked to Comrade Zhou An and learned that she knew you, and that it was under your guidance that they detained the person and did not hand her over to the higher-ups."

If they had handed it over to their superiors back then, who knows how much longer it would have taken before we were able to find it again! So you've done a great job in this matter!

Luo Cheng left with his men. This was the kind of news he liked best; it brought joy and made him feel that wearing this uniform hadn't been in vain.

Su Lan said to Lu Zhixia, "God has eyes, I believe your daughter will be found too!"

Lu Zhixia looked up at the sky and said, "I also believe that we will definitely find it!"

Zhu Hong grasped Lu Zhixia's hand, "I should thank you. If it weren't for your intervention, my son wouldn't have been found!"

Lu Zhixia said, "What are you saying? You guys have helped me a lot before. If it weren't for your brother-in-law, I wouldn't have been able to find Dr. Ma and that nurse. We help each other out!"

Zhu Hong thought about her son coming back soon and reached out to touch her hair. "When I looked in the mirror this morning, I felt that I had aged a lot. My hair had turned white. I wonder if my son would recognize me!"
