Back at the sand plant, Liang Sihan had already prepared hot soup, hot rice, and water.

Fearing the boss might be starving, they piled a plate full of large chicken legs on him, but Nie Zhao never had much of an appetite for the dishes cooked with a shovel by the sand factory chef. He only ate a few mouthfuls of rice and some vegetables before putting the food down.

Chen Rou, on the other hand, ate two chicken legs in one go. Seeing that everyone was still not full, she distributed the mountain of chicken legs that Boss Nie had piled up on his plate to the bodyguards and Uncle Liang.

Liang Lisheng was snoring while eating, but when he heard a Mandarin voice outside, he immediately snapped awake and opened his eyes. Nie Zhao pressed him down, saying, "Vice Liang, get some rest."

Liang Lisheng jumped up: "I'm full of energy, not sleepy at all."

Snoring so loudly it's deafening, and you still have the nerve to say you're not sleepy?

First, they had been linked on the pinky, and second, they were told that Chen Ke was also there. This was double insurance. Boss Nie said, "Okay."

Chen Rou first found Liang Sihan and asked him how much money the sand plant had in total. Hearing that it had exactly 300,000 yuan in working capital, she asked him to open the safe and take it all out. She put it all into a box, then went to Boss Nie's office, opened the drawer under the desk, and pulled out a small pistol. Then, she asked Yue Zhongqi for a dagger. Chen Ke was there, along with Wang Baodao. The two of them were on a speedboat, and a woman was kneeling in the middle of the boat.

Chen Rou asked Chen Ke with a smile, "That female prisoner must be quite pitiful, I bet she's not aggressive at all."

The female captive on the pirate ship had an octogenarian mother and a baby to feed; her pitiful state was off the charts.

Chen Ke couldn't stand seeing pitiful people. The reason he was beaten to a pulp by Li the Cripple was because he thought a cripple was so pitiful, how could he be a bad person? In the end, he was killed by the cripple.

Chen Rou deliberately said, "She sounds so pitiful. Let me chat with her for a bit."
