If it were someone else, they probably would have dug through these few boxes and then given up on digging deeper.

He quickly continued digging, collecting the soil in the corridor of his base space, which he would then rebury later.

As for what Gu Anning thinks, he can't control that.

It took a little more time, until about 11:30, for Gu Yunyang to collect the four more boxes he had dug up and then fill them with soil.

Finally, a large pit was left behind.

Gu Yunyang had no intention of continuing to fill in the gaps; he checked for omissions and erased all traces of his existence.

He heard some noise outside and guessed that Gu Anning had arrived.

"If I had known, I should have come here first to collect the things, and then gone to the Gu family to collect the things."
