"Director Zhang, hello, I am Lin Wanqiu from the Hongqi Production Brigade. This is a sample of the infant food I made. I would like you to try it." Lin Wanqiu said politely as she entered Director Zhang's office.

Dean Zhang was an elderly man in his fifties with slightly graying hair, wearing reading glasses. He took the porcelain bowl from Lin Wanqiu, first examining the color and texture of the complementary food, then scooping a little pumpkin rice cereal puree with a spoon and tasting it. The sweetness of the pumpkin and the softness of the rice cereal melted in his mouth, the texture delicate and without any grainy feel. Dean Zhang's eyes immediately lit up: "This complementary food is very well made, the taste is good, and the nutrition is balanced. It's much better than the corn porridge that our hospital currently gives to children."

He then tasted the carrot and rice cereal puree and the spinach and egg custard. She also established strict hygiene regulations, requiring all workers to wear hats and masks, and clean work clothes. Tools were to be disinfected with boiling water daily to ensure the hygiene and safety of the formula.

After school, Chen Nian'an would also come to the workshop to help out. Although he was young, he was very serious about his work. He was responsible for putting the packaged baby food into boxes and would remind the workers from time to time: "Mom said that baby food must be clean and hygienic, and there can be no carelessness."
