Yang Qingheng was deceived of her money and affection by a scumbag man in her past life, ending in a miserable fate. Upon rebirth, she kicked the scumbag to the curb, grabbed her money, and顺便 doted...
Pan Changshu was being escorted by several security guards when he saw Boss Zhang as soon as he came out.
Looking at the disheveled man before him, Boss Zhang was slightly surprised: "Young Master Pan, what happened to you?"
"I had a little disagreement with Tang Bainian's wife, but it's nothing serious." Pan Changshu didn't expect to be seen by an acquaintance as soon as he came out, and feeling embarrassed, he simply gave a vague answer.
Normally, if Boss Zhang heard that someone had offended Yang Qingheng, he wouldn't be surprised. After all, as the wife of the Tang family, she didn't have the power to go against the Qiao family behind Pan Changshu.
However, having witnessed Song Hengjue's complete obedience to Yang Qingheng, he was utterly astonished upon hearing this news. He hesitated for a moment, then muttered, "Why did you provoke that plague?"
"What did you say?" Pan Changshu didn't hear clearly and leaned over.
Boss Zhang was about to remind him, but remembering how embarrassing he had been in front of Yang Qingheng, he suddenly fell silent and waved his hand, saying, "It's nothing."
He almost couldn't suppress the schadenfreude in his eyes.
Why should only he be the one to embarrass himself? These young punks should also suffer a loss, so they know who they can mess with and who they can't.
Thinking of how badly Pan Changshu was punished, he almost burst out laughing.
Yang Qingheng was unaware of the farce unfolding here. Seeing that the matter had been mostly resolved, she went to the restroom and then led the girl outside.
“You must be frightened today. Go ask your boss for leave and go home to rest. If anything happens, the police will summon you,” Yang Qingheng put her arm around her shoulder to comfort her. Thinking of the Pan family’s arrogant manner, she added, “If anything happens, you can call me.” She took out a business card from her bag and put it in her hand.
The woman hadn't been working here long and this was the first time she'd encountered something like this. Hearing Pan Changshu's harsh words, she knew she'd probably messed with someone she shouldn't have. Feeling anxious and uneasy, she heard Yang Qingheng's words and her eyes welled up with tears: "Thank you."
When Yang Qingheng heard someone use a respectful term for her for the first time, she was stunned for a second and almost didn't react. She covered her lips with her finger and said with a smile, "I'm not that senior, you don't need to call me that. Alright, go home and rest."
He waved his hand and started to walk forward.
Unexpectedly, the woman hesitated for a few seconds and did not leave as she was told. Instead, she followed closely behind, her eyes red and her voice trembling with fear: "Sister, I'm still a little scared. Can I stay with you for now? I'll go home with my boyfriend after he gets off work."
"Okay, then you can come with me first." Yang Qingheng saw that her eyes were red and she looked like a rabbit. Her hardened heart sank a little. She nodded and pulled her forearm outside.
Just as he led his men back to the hall, he saw Song Hengjue talking to a lady in the distance. He paused for a moment, then strode over.
"Is the auction over?"
Hearing the familiar voice, Song Hengjue shuddered and instinctively put his hands in his pockets, his eyes darting around for a moment: "Yes, why did you take so long?"
"I ran into a little trouble. And who is this?" Yang Qingheng didn't want to talk to him about that unlucky guy, Pan Changshu, so she turned to look at the lady beside her.
He looked to be in his forties and was a new face, so he probably didn't have much influence in the industry.
Song Hengjue's Adam's apple bobbed. He gave the lady a look, signaling that she could leave, but turned to Yang Qingheng with a calm expression: "My friend's wife. I just happened to see her and came up to say hello."
His friend Yang Qingheng wasn't interested and nodded, "Since it's almost time, let's go eat."
Song Hengjue breathed a sigh of relief and followed closely behind, reaching out to take her forearm, but was pushed away.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a strange woman who had appeared out of nowhere.
Where did Yang Qingheng get her friends from? How can she be so clueless about reading people's expressions?
Song Hengjue muttered to himself, but seeing that the woman's expression remained unchanged, he did not suspect anything and silently moved to Yang Qingheng's other side.
"Let's have lunch nearby first, and we'll take you back later." Yang Qingheng nodded to her.
The woman nodded obediently: "Sister, is it the hotel on your business card? You're so young and you own such a big hotel. I've never met anyone as capable as you before."
The soft, sweet voice made Yang Qingheng understand almost instantly why he liked and admired women who adored him.
Even though she knew this feeling was base, she still shamefully thought for a moment... "It feels good!"
Song Hengjue could tell from Yang Qingheng's expression how happy she was. Then, looking at the strange woman beside her who seemed to be glued to Yang Qingheng, alarm bells went off in his mind. He reached out and pulled Yang Qingheng into his arms, asking, "Qingheng, who is she?"
"Oh, this is my new friend, Zhao Yan." Yang Qingheng slapped her forehead, just remembering to introduce him, but she didn't mention the embarrassing incident in the restroom earlier, taking good care of Zhao Yan's feelings.
Song Hengjue's eyes flashed, and he revealed a friendly smile, but only the woman opposite him knew how unfriendly his gaze looked: "Zhao Yan, hello."
Zhao Yan forced a fake smile. Song Hengjue was almost certain that if Yang Qingheng hadn't been there, this inexplicable stranger would have rolled her eyes at him in public.
"I forgot, there's still one contract I haven't picked up. You two wait here for me." Yang Qingheng frowned, feeling uncomfortable without Sun Rong by her side. Normally, she would have taken care of this for her, and she wouldn't have had to worry about it herself.
Unfortunately, Sun Rong has been unwell these past two days and has taken leave, so Fang Nan has to stay by her side.
