Shang Shang hung up the phone, turned to Pei Yanli and smiled gently, "Let's go, I'll take you home first."

Once in the car, Pei Yanli noticed it was the same car he had crashed before and asked, "Is the car fixed?"

As Shang Shang started the car, he replied, "No, the imported paint will take some time to arrive, so I drove the car back first."

Pei Yanli apologized again: "I was really too careless last time."

Shang Shang quickly shook her head: "It's okay, these kinds of minor accidents are easy to happen. When I first started driving, my dad was sitting next to me. I got nervous and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, and I crashed into the pillar at the gate."

Shang Shang asked Pei Yanli for the specific address, then whispered, "There's still a long way to go. You can rest here for a bit, and I'll call you when we get there."

Pei Yanli hummed in agreement, then leaned back in his chair and pretended to doze off, afraid that Shang Shang would feel awkward.

His gaze kept falling on Shang Shang, watching her drive with such focus, and he felt a peace he had never felt before.

Shang Shang drove very nervously and carefully, maintaining a steady speed, and even secretly slowed down so that she could spend more time with Pei Yanli.

But no matter how far the road, it will eventually be reached. When she arrived at the gate of Tsinghua University, the car could not go in, so she could only stop the car and turn her head to look at Pei Yanli, who was resting with his eyes closed.

I don’t know when Pei Yanli took off his glasses. With his eyes closed and resting, his skin looked even whiter in the dim light, his nose was high and straight, and his eyelashes were very long.

Shang Shang watched quietly for a few seconds before reaching out and poking Pei Yanli's arm with her finger: "Pei Yanli? We're here. The car can only go this far."
