The strong men were busy helping to move the heavy objects, while some of the women, who were too weak to help, could only stand in small groups at the door, whispering and gossiping among themselves.

One of the women, with a disdainful expression, curled her lip and said, "Oh my, look at the Xia family now, they've really made something of themselves! They're actually moving to the city to live a comfortable life!"

Her tone clearly carried a hint of sourness.
