80s New Wedding Night: I Married the Fiercest Rough Guy

"Are we still getting a divorce?"

Her rough husband threatened her while gripping her waist. She had no choice but to beg for mercy, "No, we're not getting a divorce, we'r...

Chapter 478 Greedy and Lustful

Ye Yun personally went to the main gate to greet the person.

They had intended to invite Ye Jian'an in for a chat and a cup of tea, but Ye Jian'an stood awkwardly at the gate, refusing to step into the garment factory.

He gazed at the enormous garment factory, the rhythmic clatter of sewing machines from the production line emanating from the doorway.

His restrained eyes were filled with surprise and shock, as well as a hint of embarrassment. It was hard to believe that such a large garment factory belonged to Ye Yun.

The little girl who suffered all kinds of oppression in his home actually managed to shoulder the burden on her own.

Even he couldn't compare.

Ye Jian'an looked at himself and felt that his coarse cotton clothes were unworthy of entering such a huge garment factory to drink the tea that Ye Yun had poured for him.

Even the fruit candies and pastries he had specially bought seemed much cheaper.

But the gift was already in front of Ye Yun, so he couldn't take it back. He reluctantly put the gift on the windowsill of the security booth, and his smile unconsciously became more ingratiating.

"Yun, it's been so long since I've seen you. I came to see you. I didn't know what you liked to eat, so I just bought some random things from a roadside vendor. Don't mind..."

Ye Yun forced a smile, "How could that be? It's enough that you came to see me."

She glanced at the loose fruit candies and felt a pang of bitterness. That brand of fruit candies was more expensive and was only sold at counters in department stores. Ye Jian'an was afraid she wouldn't like them, so he lied and said he just bought them from a roadside stall.

Her uncle had become estranged from her.

Ye Jian'an didn't seem to hear her, nodding repeatedly before waving his hand and saying, "Alright, now that I've seen you, I have nothing else to say, so I'll be going now!"

He was about to leave, pushing his old bicycle.

There was only one bus from the mountains to the county town in the morning. When he and Liu Meilan received the letter, it was already afternoon. It was difficult to find a ride along the way, so he was so anxious that he rode his old bicycle for almost an hour to reach the county town with Liu Meilan on the back.

It was over forty miles long, and there was still a person on board.

In the dead of winter, with snow on the road, the old bicycle couldn't grip the ground. If it went too fast, he and Liu Meilan fell into a ditch. They could only grit their teeth and get up, which was quite an ordeal for them.

Ye Xue, that wretched daughter.

He believed he had never mistreated his daughter and couldn't understand why Ye Xue had grown up like this. If she had been a little less troublesome, he wouldn't be so exhausted.

Thinking of this, Ye Jian'an couldn't help but turn back and glance at Ye Yun again.

He didn't expect Ye Xue to be as obedient and sensible as Ye Yun, but he would be content if she could at least understand things.

Unfortunately, Ye Xue's temperament is hard to change. She was spoiled by Liu Meilan from a young age and her personality became distorted. It won't be easy to change her back.

"Won't Uncle stay with me a little longer?"

Seeing that he wanted to leave, Ye Yun gave him a perfectly timed smile.

There was no deliberate intimacy, nor any aloofness, so that Ye Jian'an didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

Ye Jian'an simply waved his hand.

He pedaled the bicycle, and it sped off. He climbed onto the old-fashioned bicycle, waved goodbye to Ye Yun, and left the garment factory.

Ye Yun watched him gradually disappear into the distance.

She sighed only after Ye Jian'an's figure disappeared from sight, her gaze involuntarily falling on the pastries and fruit candies wrapped in oil paper on the windowsill.

The fruit candy brand is good, and the pastries must have been bought from a department store.

Ye Jian'an was not a wealthy man to begin with, and this trip must have cost him all his savings, yet he received even more estranged affection from her.

"Your uncle is leaving already?"

Qin Zheng then rushed over.

He was chatting with the soldier in the workshop when he suddenly heard that Ye Jian'an had come to see Ye Yun. He rushed over and saw this scene.

Ye Yun nodded.

Qin Zheng noticed that something was wrong with her expression, so he stepped forward, put his arm around her shoulder, and asked gently in her ear, "What's wrong? You were fine just now, but now that your uncle is here, you seem unhappy?"

"No way..."

Ye Yun chuckled, but there was an undeniable hint of reluctance and exhaustion in her voice.

Qin Zheng clicked his tongue.

"Fine, if you don't want to talk about it, I won't ask. But you need to know, honey, although you've lost happiness, you've gained unhappiness."

Ye Yun: "...?"

No, bro, are you serious?

Qin Zheng met her earnest gaze, nodded, spread his hands, and said seriously, "See, you were perfectly fine just now?"

Ye Yun blinked.

Qin Zheng then asked, "Are you a little unhappy right now?"

Ye Yun was so angry she laughed.

She raised her hand and playfully punched Qin Zheng's chest, both amused and exasperated, "Are you kidding me?"

"Sigh..."

Seeing her smile, Qin Zheng also smiled gently and pulled her into his arms again.

Taking advantage of the fact that no one was watching, Qin Zheng brushed his cool lips across Ye Yun's face, then hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear, "Are you any happier now?"

As he spoke, his warm breath gently brushed against Ye Yun's earlobe.

It's tingly and itchy, making it irresistibly tempting.

At the gate of the garment factory, even though it was dusk and no vehicles were coming or going, Ye Yun was afraid of being seen, so she pretended to be displeased and turned around to push the man away a little.

As soon as she opened her mouth, her voice had already melted into water from his embrace, with an indescribable softness: "Don't do this in public, it won't look good if people see us."

"What's wrong with me hugging my wife?" Qin Zheng asked in surprise, his arms, which had been pushed away, stretched out helplessly in the air.

The bulky military overcoat draped over his body, yet it did not look rustic at all. The upright dark green color complemented his rugged face, and his thick eyebrows almost obscured his sharp eyes. He was so burly that even the silver snow behind him became a mere backdrop.
