"You've come to see Lili?"

Li Xiuying looked delighted and walked out of the ward, reaching out to grab Qin Zheng's arm.

But she quickly realized her mistake and saw the aloofness on Qin Zheng's face. Her outstretched hand froze in mid-air, and she silently withdrew it, saying, "It's good that you're here, it's good that you're here."

The fact that he came shows that Qin Zheng still cares about Guo Lili, his younger sister.

Li Xiuying stared at the two figures walking away hand in hand, speechless with astonishment.

Didn't these two come here specifically to check on Wang Dong's mother after hearing she was causing trouble and they were worried about her and her child?

Li Xiuying, ignoring Guo Lili on the bed, hurriedly called out, "Zhengzi? What are you checking? What's wrong with you?"

After a long pause, Qin Zheng finally spoke in a nonchalant tone: "Oh."

Ye Yun suddenly looked at his face and nodded; it was indeed the response he could give.

Seemingly realizing his reaction was a bit too bland, Qin Zheng added casually, "I understand."

Then: "Be more careful next time."

Ye Yun: "..."

Okay, well said!

Guo Lili looked grateful, her eyes red, as if Qin Zheng was her savior.

Then she said, "Brother, I don't really like hospitals. It's not safe here. I think I'm fine and can be discharged."

"Then I'll send someone to pick you up."

"No need," Guo Lili refused outright, glancing at Li Xiuying beside her. "I'm not going back to the villa with you. I want to go back to the village with our mother."

He didn't say another word after that, put his arm around Ye Yun's shoulder, and went down the stairs without looking back.

"Hey Zhengzi! Zhengzi!"

Li Xiuying wanted to chase after Qin Zheng, but Guo Lili called out from behind, "Mother!"

"Mom, my stomach hurts!"

After saying that, she squatted down and pretended to have a stomachache, which made Li Xiuying so anxious that she had to give up chasing Qin Zheng and hurriedly return to her side.

Just before going down the stairs, Ye Yun saw Li Xiuying both complaining and comforting her.
