Chapter 1012: Previous Life (VI)
"Jiang Ren," Jiang Yu's voice came, "What are you angry about?"
"Unhappy?" Jiang Ren seemed to laugh. The next moment, he smashed the inkstone in front of Jiang Yu's desk. "What do you have that I'm angry about?"
Jiang Yu's eyes remained unchanged. "Then what are you afraid of?"
He turned around and met the face that looked like his own, "Jiang Ren, are you so scared?"
There was tension between the two men.
Jiang Ren took action first. He punched Jiang Yu in the face with all his strength, but Jiang Yu only had some scratches on his face.
"Brother, you are still practicing secretly, right?" Jiang Ren suddenly raised his voice and reached out to grab Jiang Yu's lapel.
"Jiang Ren, does this have anything to do with you?" Jiang Yu's expression was indifferent.
"Who told you to practice?" Jiang Ren's voice changed. "How dare you? How could you possibly practice? What kind of evil magic did you practice? Do you believe me? I'll report it to my father."
"Go ahead," Jiang Yu's calm voice sounded again, a little casually, "Do you dare?"
Jiang Ren's eyes turned red, and he punched Jiang Yu in the stomach, "Brother, do you really think I'm afraid of you?"
Jiang Yu coughed up a mouthful of blood, but simply wiped it away with his hand. "Jiang Ren, if you're not afraid, why did you come here with father today? Are you afraid of what I might say to him?"
A ball of black mist formed in Jiang Ren's hand, but he heard Jiang Yu say, "Jiang Ren, what will happen to you if I die?"
"You've been sucking my blood for so many years like a parasite. If I die, can you still live?"
This was the first time Jiang Ren heard his brother point out everything he had done so bluntly.
His eyes widened, and the black mist in his hand disappeared instantly.
Jiang Yu knew.
When did he start to know?
"Jiang Ren, behave like the Young Master. Also, adjust your attitude and don't provoke me again."
Jiang Ren didn't know how he left.
Jiangcheng was quickly decorated with lights and lanterns in preparation for a banquet to entertain the guests coming from Phoenix City.
Su Zhi hid herself and stayed by Jiang Yu's side all night.
"Princess, try this." Jiang Yu protected her and let her eat.
However, the princess had been drinking and whispered to her, "Jiang Yu, why are you still calling me princess? We are now an engaged couple."
Then Su Zhi saw that her delicate fiancé's ears turned red again.
Su Zhi: "Jiang Yu, you are so beautiful."
The man listened to her words and did not speak for a long time, until Su Zhi suddenly heard him say, "Azhi."
This fiancé was so shy that Su Zhi covered her mouth and laughed secretly.
Jiang Yu suddenly raised his head and looked at Jiang Ren who was standing next to his father in front of him. Seeing his expression, a serious look flashed across his face.
In the second half of the banquet, Jiang Yu took Su Zhi away first.
"Azhi, you should go back to Phoenix City first." Jiang Yu said.
Su Zhi was puzzled: "Why? Can't I go back with you?"
"No."
Su Zhi didn't understand.
But Jiang Yu insisted on sending her out of Jiangcheng.
"Azhi, see you on the wedding day."
But a moment of kindness ultimately led to being plotted against.
On the wedding day, Jiang Yu wore red clothes, and his parents and Jiang Ren all showed up.
But he was uneasy.
His mother once wanted him to marry a girl from his own family, but now seeing Jiang Yu marrying into the Phoenix clan, she felt relieved, as if the two brothers no longer appeared in front of her at the same time, and she had less worries.
But before he left, Jiang Ren said, "Brother, what should I do if you leave?"
