Chapter 12
Workaholic? Is this me?
Su Qiong was surprised. She had never felt this way before. She always thought she was just doing her job competently.
After watching the movie, Su Qiong was once again speechless after leaving her job. How could she forget that her CEO had mysophobia? She watched as Mu Yunting raised his hand to call the cleaning staff after the movie ended, but because the cleaning staff couldn't come due to the epidemic, he put his hand down and gradually frowned.
She wondered why Mu Yunting had such a poor cleanliness habit when watching movies. It seemed like he had to thoroughly clean the theater after every use! Su Qiong was furious. Wasn't simply picking up the trash and opening the windows enough to ventilate the room?
Mu Yunting was silent for a moment, then tried to clean up on his own. He bent down, picked up a half-full black trash bag, and told Su Qiong to go and rest. "It's getting late. You should go and rest first. I'll clean up."
How could Su Qiong dare to do that? She grabbed another bag of garbage and said, "Let's do it together. It will be faster this way." But she was still complaining in her heart - Boss, do you have any experience in cleaning?
The two men, one in front and one behind, threw the garbage into the big trash can in the fire escape and returned to the screening room.
Su Qiong looked at the screening room, which seemed very tidy to her, and asked with her hands on her hips, "How do you want to clean it?"
Mu Yunting rubbed his fingers together, recalling what the cleaning lady had done. "It seems like they changed the sofa covers and cushions, and then wiped them all down again?"
Su Qiong: ...
If I had known it would be so troublesome, I would have refused to watch the movie.
Of course, this is just a thought. Although it was a bad movie, it was quite interesting to watch a movie with Mu Yunting. The biggest gain was seeing another side of the boss.
Mu Yunting has a sweeping robot at home. After he carried the thin carpet to the balcony, he originally wanted to scrub the carpet, but Su Qiong's words "Do you know how to wash the carpet?" left him speechless. He went back to mop the floor silently, following the smart sweeping robot and mopping the floor quite well.
After rubbing the carpet, Su Qiong hung it on the balcony's telescopic rack. "Are you done?" She walked into the projection room, shaking her reddened hands, hoping the wind would quickly wash away the moisture.
Mu Yunting was concentrating on wiping the corner of the low table. When he heard the sound, he turned around to look at her. His eyes drifted to Su Qiong's waving red fingers. He paused and said, "Just wipe this corner of the table and it will be fine."
After wiping, Mu Yunting picked up a lazy sofa and searched for a long time but couldn't find the zipper. He sighed in confusion.
Su Qiong also walked over, turned over another orange sofa, touched the bottom of the sofa, and indeed felt the elastic rope. With a pull, the sofa cover loosened and fell off easily.
Mu Yunting learned from this and also stretched out his butt to pull on the sofa, and two white sofas were born. He felt that it would be dirty to put them down where they were, so he placed the two lazy sofas without leather covers on the newly laid carpet.
I dragged the original location of the lazy sofa again.
Su Qiong was speechless for a moment, then casually covered the two lazy sofas with new leather. The leather was one black and one white. She had watched Mu Yunting hesitate for ten minutes between the three colors of black, white and gray sofa covers before finally helping him decide.
The time it took to clean up almost matched the movie's duration, and it was already early morning. Su Qiong finished her shower and lay on the bed, rubbing her stiff back and gazing out the window at the night view of the city. Today had flown by rather quickly... and I was quite exhausted.
Su Qiong took out her cell phone as usual and browsed it before going to bed.
The League of Legends she was playing recently launched a new event, including a limited card pool. The event story happened to be about Su Qiong's favorite male character and "me" in a parallel world. The touching story, handsome and gorgeous cards, and limited voiceovers were all there, and Su Qiong spent all her saved diamonds on the day the pool opened.
Unfortunately, the probability was extremely low. When I drew the guaranteed card in the end, it turned out to be a bad pool. I drew another card that I didn't like so much. Su Qiong was so angry that he didn't open the card pool for three days.
Today she finally digested her emotions and thought in a Buddhist way, at worst she could just spend some more money.
Click the glittering ten-draw button, and brilliant lights dance on the phone screen...
Su Qiong gradually opened her eyes and saw the golden light representing SSR. There was a gold card!
"New!" flashed in the upper left corner of the gorgeous card. The black-haired man on the card moved his slender fingers, and a teasing voice followed: "My queen, will you dance?"
Su Qiong was hit on the head by a huge surprise. Living here for many days made her relaxed. She thought she was at home and excitedly cried out "Oh!"
“OMG!!! YES!!! Yeah yeah yeah!!!”
He went crazy on the bed for a while, holding the pillow and rolling his phone left and right, and suddenly remembered that this was Mu Yunting's house, not his own home, and stopped abruptly.
Mu Yunting, who was fetching water in the living room, was startled by a sudden series of noises.
