Chapter 355 Fearless Heroes

"Brother, why did they do this?" Maggie asked anxiously from the side. "How could they do this?"

"Why?" A deep voice answered first, followed by footsteps from the doorway. "Of course, it's because Hua Ying exposed the shady deals between the government, business, and military in Myanmar, causing a huge public outcry. Upon hearing Lu Jinye's introduction, Ge Gang immediately lowered his guard.

Maggie realized something, cautiously peeked outside the yard, turned around and drew the curtains, closing the door as well, afraid of being overheard by someone with ulterior motives!

"What else do you know about Hua Ying? Can't your country...send someone to help her?" Brother Gang asked, "After all, she's Chinese..."

"Yes, she shouldn't be treated like this." Lu Jinye, leaning against the corner of the wall, slowly raised his eyes. The weariness in his eyes couldn't outweigh his burning anger and heartache!

He sat next to Lu Jinye with a cigarette between his fingers, gazing at the stars in the sky, his heart still unable to find peace!
