After Amnesia, the Red-Eyed Monsters Fought for My Affection

Never casually save a man. If you are dazzlingly beautiful, then even more so, lest you be coveted and unable to escape.

Nan Qianyue saved not just one, but three; saving them both physically...

Chapter 181 Take her to the border, but do not harm her in the slightest.

Looking up at the sky, Nanqianyue sighed, "If the old Marquis knew that his wife had been murdered by a poisonous woman, and that his own son had done nothing but protect the murderer, how heartbroken he would be."

Enraged, Xie Shizi retorted, "The affairs of my Marquis's residence are none of your business, an outsider!"

Xie San chimed in, "That's right. She's clearly an immoral woman, having an ambiguous relationship with Xie Yanzhou. What right does a woman who only knows how to follow men have to gossip here?"

On the other side, Xie Si kept giving Xie San meaningful glances, and even hurriedly whispered a reminder, "Don't say anything, her father is the prime minister, and she's about to marry Prince Anzheng."

We can't afford to offend either of them.

The only person in their household with prestige in the court was their grandfather, who lived far away on the border; no one else had any say.

However, Xie San became even more agitated upon hearing this, "I was right! You're a shameless woman! You're about to marry Prince Anzheng, and you still dare to have an affair with Xie Yanzhou—"

A hidden weapon flew out of the broken window and pierced Xie San's right chest.

He bent over, clutching his wound, and his forehead was instantly covered with large beads of sweat.

Prince Xie glared angrily at the doorway, "You unfilial son! You hurt Zhirou and your brother, I'm going to beat you to death today—"

His roar stopped abruptly, and he collapsed.

The three people on the other side, still conscious, panicked. "Y-you...what do you want to do—"

Three silver needles were shot into their bodies, and in an instant, all the shouting men collapsed to the ground.

Vida, hidden in the shadows, silently retracted his hidden weapon.

Nanqianyue looked towards the door with a smile, "It still has to be you."

Xie Yanzhou's eyes were filled with guilt. He seemed afraid to look at Nan Qianyue any longer. He waved his hand to summon a servant and said, "Carry them to your own courtyard."

The servants trembled with fear, truly terrified by Xie Yanzhou, and stammered, "Yes, yes, yes."

Xie Yanzhou walked up to Nan Qianyue, looking ashamed, and said, "I'm sorry you had to suffer."

Nanqianyue smiled and said, "It's just because I heard a few barks, what's there to be upset about?"

She tilted her head slightly and examined Xie Yanzhou's face closely. "Are you on a diet? How come you've lost so much weight?"

Xie Yanzhou's eyes welled up with tears, and he awkwardly turned his face away. "...I heard you're going to marry him."

Nanqianyue raised an eyebrow. "Yes, as my best brother, don't forget to prepare a congratulatory gift."

She stroked her chin and thought for a moment, "Uh... you can give it to me in advance."

Xie Yanzhou couldn't help but smile, his gaze falling once again on her radiant face. "Okay."

As long as she's happy, it doesn't matter if he's not standing next to her...

"Let's go in and see your grandmother first." Nan Qianyue lifted her skirt and walked ahead.

Inside the room, Bai Shu's expression was unusually serious. He inserted the last silver needle into the acupoint on the old lady's head and proceeded to the next step.

The young man in blue squatted to one side to assist him, while Miss Xie held a cup of hot tea, ready to hand it to Bai Shu at any moment.

Nan Qianyue and Xie Yanzhou walked in quietly, neither of them speaking, just waiting silently.

Two full hours passed before Bai Shu wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve and slowly stood up.

Everyone else held their breath, waiting for him to speak.

“Toxins cannot be completely eliminated,” Bai Shu said gravely.

Miss Xie was completely disoriented. She slid to the ground while holding onto the bedpost, and silently wept as she looked at the old man on the bed.

Nan Qianyue frowned. "Explain yourself clearly."

Bai Shu took a sip of tea to moisten his throat before saying, "We can only help with detoxification through acupuncture and give the old lady some medicine to strengthen her constitution, then there won't be any problems."

Nanqianyue suppressed the urge to punch Bai Shu, saying, "Next time, speak faster, it's scary, okay?"

Bai Shu took another sip of tea, smiled apologetically, and said, "Sorry, my mouth is dry."

Xie Yanzhou stepped forward and bowed to Bai Shu, saying, "Thank you, Lord Bai, for saving my grandmother. I will always remember your kindness. If you ever encounter any difficulties in the future, please feel free to ask me for help."

Bai Shu waved his hand modestly, "You're too kind, Xie Shisun."

"Young Master, someone from the Prince Anzheng's residence has arrived. They say they want to take Miss Nan back." A servant rushed over to report.

Xie Yanzhou lowered his eyes, concealing the color within them. "I understand. You may leave."

He calmed himself down a bit, and when he looked up again, he had a faint smile on his face. "Qianqian, you can go now. Everything's alright here."

Nan Qianyue's brows were furrowed with worry, but she had no right to interfere in Xie Yanzhou's family affairs. "Well, Bai Shu will stay here for a few days. If you need any help, just send someone to find me."

A smile, like falling petals, bloomed in Xie Yanzhou's eyes. It was beautiful, yet tinged with melancholy. "Okay."

...At the entrance of the Marquis's residence, Qin Yi stood steadily beside the carriage with his hands behind his back, his expression as indifferent as ever.

The guards at the entrance of the Marquis's mansion were sweating profusely, and none of them dared to utter a sound.

Suddenly, a graceful figure in the rosy clouds came into view, and the cold atmosphere gradually melted away with warmth.

Qin Yi stepped forward to greet her, his voice filled with concern, "Are you injured?"

Nan Qianyue laughed and punched him in the chest. "What are you talking about? How could I be hurt?"

Qin Yi's eyes narrowed slightly. "The Marquis's family is too chaotic. I'm afraid you'll suffer."

Nan Qianyue glanced back at the Marquis's residence, then pulled Qin Yi onto the carriage. "It's truly chaotic; you could say it's morally bankrupt."

She took the seat of honor without any hesitation, and Qin Yi, who came later, didn't sit next to her even though there was a seat available, but instead squeezed in next to her.

"The imperial decree for the marriage has been issued." The light in Qin Yi's eyes was like a flickering flame.

Nanqian Yue raised her beautiful eyes, her eyelashes curving in a playful arc, "So?"

Qin Yi lowered his head a little further, his eyes filled with ambiguity, "I've already asked Hu Taichang to choose a wedding date. Let's pick the closest one, okay?"
