Never casually save a man. If you are dazzlingly beautiful, then even more so, lest you be coveted and unable to escape.
Nan Qianyue saved not just one, but three; saving them both physically...
Just as Nanqianyue and Alan brushed past each other, Xiao Chen and Ye Jian suddenly flew over, their movements swift and agile.
At the same time, Qin Yi's eyes darkened instantly. He stepped hard on the stirrups and leaped into the air. The men in green and red immediately followed.
Nan Qianyue turned around and pushed Alan and Hu Bo toward the flying Ye Jian. Xiao Chen, who was flying toward Nan Qianyue, reached out his hand, but was intercepted by Qingyi's sword.
Fortunately, Ye Jian reacted quickly, handing Alan and Hu Bo over to Yan Bo, while he helped Xiao Chen block the two people in green and red.
"Nan Nan!"
Xiao Chen flashed over, and Nan Qianyue immediately rushed towards him. Qin Yi, with a gloomy expression, reached out to grab her.
A cold glint flashed in Nanqianyue's eyes. Amidst the lightning and thunder, she drew the short knife given to her by Xiao Chen and slashed at Qin Yi's outstretched hand.
The sharp blade slid across his palm, but he neither dodged nor avoided it, instead grabbing the blade and pulling it back.
Nan Qianyue never expected him to be so ruthless to her. For a moment, she forgot to let go and was dragged over by Qin Yi.
"Nan Nan!" Xiao Chen was too late.
Nan Qianyue was held in Qin Yi's arms, his cold gaze sweeping over Nan Qianyue's indignantly resisting eyes.
The whole process happened very quickly, and the surrounding soldiers and officers did not have time to react.
Ye Jian lived up to his reputation as a renowned swordsman; neither the woman in green nor the woman in red fared well against him, and both were injured.
Ye Jian retreated to Xiao Chen's side and whispered, "My lord, let's retreat first."
Xiao Chen glared at Qin Yi, who was standing two zhang away, and gritted his teeth as he said, "Qin Yi, give her back to me."
The woman in green, who had retreated to Qin Yi's side, clutched her bleeding shoulder and scolded, "What do you mean 'return'? Miss Nan is a person, not an object. How can you take things from her as you please?"
"Looks like I went too easy on you." Ye Jian glanced coldly at Qingyi.
The sword should have been raised higher to seal the throat.
Nan Qianyue glanced sideways at Qingyi's disheveled appearance, showing no sympathy whatsoever. Instead, she looked at Ye Jian and gave him a thumbs up, saying, "Ye Jian, very good. Don't hold back next time."
Who are you calling a scoundrel?
“Miss Nan, you—” Qingyi was stunned.
Qin Yi's gaze fell on Xiao Chen's face, but he spoke to Nan Qianyue, "This time, I will spare his life. If there is a next time, I will definitely kill him."
After saying that, he picked up Nan Qianyue and turned to leave.
Xiao Chen wanted to rush over to stop them, but Ye Jian held him back. "My lord, the forces of Yudan Kingdom are no match for these Black Riders. Please don't act rashly."
Xiao Chen's eyes reddened with anger, "I order you to let go!"
Ye Jian narrowed his eyes and struck Xiao Chen on the back of the neck with a palm strike, causing Xiao Chen to faint.
Nan Qianyue, who was being lifted onto the horse by Qin Yi, happened to see this scene. She pursed her lips, her expression complicated.
She dragged Xiao Chen into this mess, and she dragged Alan and the old man into this mess...
The Black Riders retreated, and Nanqianyue was imprisoned in front of Qin Yi, unable to escape.
"Your Highness, are you alright?" The woman in red ignored her own injuries and focused her gaze on Qin Yi's hand holding the reins.
The reins were all dyed dark black.
Qin Yi ignored her and stared down at the top of Nan Qianyue's head, where a sapphire hairpin was inserted, which looked very valuable.
He raised his hand, pulled the hairpin out, and then casually tossed it behind him.
Nanqianyue touched her head, gritted her teeth, and suppressed the urge to get angry.
When you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head.
“Miss Nan, please don’t run away anymore. The Prince hasn’t slept for several nights because of you.” The woman in green on the other side spoke up for Qin Yi.
With a sullen face, Nanqianyue coldly uttered two words, "Serves you right."
Qingyi was speechless again. He couldn't argue with Miss Nan, and more importantly, he didn't dare to refute her.
Just thinking about the twenty more lashes I'm about to receive makes me feel exhausted.
Qin Yi hunched over, resting his head on Nan Qianyue's shoulder, his eyes half-closed as if he were very tired.
"What are you doing? Don't you have bones?" Nan Qianyue twisted her shoulders, but she couldn't get rid of him no matter what she did.
Qin Yi handed the reins to Nan Qianyue, then held her tightly, his upper body almost entirely pressed against her.
Nanqianyue felt a wave of disgust as she gripped the blood-stained reins. Just as she was about to throw the rope away, she noticed the unusual bloodstains on it.
She frowned, rubbed a little blood on her fingertip, and wondered why it was so black.
"Your Highness? What's wrong?" The woman in red noticed Qin Yi's unusual behavior and immediately questioned Nan Qianyue, "Miss Nan, what did you do to Your Highness?"
Nan Qianyue lowered her eyes and showed her fingertip to the woman in red, saying, "He seems to be poisoned."
The woman in red's eyes immediately flashed with anger. "Miss Nan, how could you be so cruel? What did the Prince do to you that you would treat him so ruthlessly!"
"Shut up." Qin Yi glanced sideways and scolded softly, but he seemed weak due to the poisoning.
"Your Highness, please take the antidote pill quickly!" The woman in red handed over the medicine bottle, her voice filled with panic and urgency.
"What's wrong, Your Highness?" A young general noticed the situation ahead and immediately rode over.
Qin Yi opened his eyes, his weakness not diminishing his intimidating presence. "I am unharmed. Continue on your way. Step back."
The young general was taken aback, then clasped his hands and said, "...Yes."
The woman in red opened the medicine bottle and handed it to Qin Yi. "Your Highness, I beg you, please take the antidote."
She knew the prince was a stubborn mule!
Qin Yi rested his head on Nan Qianyue's shoulder, closed his eyes, and ignored the woman in red.
“Miss Nan, I believe you didn’t administer the poison. I’ll have to trouble you to give the Prince the antidote.” The woman in green took a different approach.
Nanqianyue glanced sideways at the person on her shoulder who was pretending to be deaf with his eyes closed, and took the medicine bottle with a speechless expression. She poured out a pill and handed it to his mouth.
...He doesn't eat.
Nan Qianyue took a deep breath, placed the reins on the horse's back, and then roughly pried open Qin Yi's mouth and threw the pill in.
