The Hundred Beast Garden was tragically ransacked by enemies, leaving only two young immortal attendants at the gate and a few monster cubs. Zhao Xixiang, a world-class chef, was summoned as a dest...
The upland buzzard is a type of eagle.
After the giant buzzard landed on the ground, it was enormous, a head taller than Zhao Xixiang. Most of its body was covered with brown feathers, while its neck and a few feather shafts were white.
The thigh was covered by bird feathers, and the exposed half of the leg showed strong, muscular muscles.
Its bird had a hooked beak on its head and sharp claws on its feet, looking exactly like the eagle Zhao Xi wanted to know.
No wonder it's a monster of the bird-of-prey class!
She boasted that she wasn't exactly light, but he could easily pick her up and fly her into the air.
This is all the physical strength of the Great Buzzard Demon, without even using any magic!
This giant buzzard must be incredibly powerful, spending all its time breathing and reciting mantras around the spiritual plants!
Perhaps it was because she was a mortal and Xiao Jia was too weak that the Great Buzzard Demon felt no threat and therefore disdained to kill them.
Now that he's landed on the ground, he's confident he can take them down before they can pick the flowers.
Zhao Xi couldn't help but stare at him a few more times.
Perhaps his gaze was too alert, for he also raised his head, staring at her with sharp eagle eyes, and his voice came from his beak: "What are you looking at?!"
"Well……"
Suddenly, my survival instinct kicked in!
Zhao Xi gave a thumbs up and showered him with compliments, "You're so handsome! Those big wings, those thighs, those powerful claws, no one can escape you! And that mouth of yours, one bite and there's bound to be a big hole in the ground!"
The giant buzzard was speechless: "…………"
We must not act rashly!
But what can we do to prevent him from seeing the folk remedy behind it?
Zhao Xi tried to squat down, pointed to the book on botany, and said with an embarrassed smile, "Boss, this book isn't finished yet, so why don't we stop reading it for now?"
The giant buzzard flapped its wings and nearly blew her away.
Zhao Xi thought she didn't dare to speak, and secretly began to organize the wind spirit talismans in her ring.
He quickly tapped the magic book with his beak, and soon saw the later parts. He sneered, "This blood-irrigation method is utter nonsense. The spiritual energy in blood is in large clumps; spiritual plants can't absorb it, and might even suffocate from the spiritual energy!"
"Huh?"
That's a rather unique argument... but on second thought, isn't it just the same old story about how large molecules can't be absorbed by plants?
I thought all immortals didn't study these things, but I never expected to hear similar theories from this giant buzzard demon.
The giant buzzard demon didn't take them seriously and let its guard down.
If she takes out a wind talisman and blows him away, she might be able to snatch the flower.
But……
Zhao Xi looked at the lonely Spirit Snow Rabbit and loosened her grip on the ring: "The Lower Immortal Realm is so vast, there must be other snow mountains. I'll go look elsewhere."
"We can't find them. All the Spirit Snow Rabbits in the entire Lower Immortal Realm have been harvested."
"How is this possible?!"
“My master is named Zhong Yang, who is dedicated to collecting spiritual plants and has written ‘The Record of Spiritual Plants in the Snowfield.’ After he discovered this Spirit Snow Rabbit in Yunxiu Mountain, he ordered me to guard this place while he went out to find its counterpart. I guarded it for ten years, thinking I could finally return to my master’s side, but he brought back devastating news…”
The great buzzard transformed into human form, becoming a man over two meters tall with an eagle's beak and brown skin. "There are many kinds of Spirit Snow Rabbits, but this one is the only one left in the Lower Immortal Realm. So I received his order to continue guarding this place until it withers away."
He crouched down and approached the Spirit Snow Rabbit with his large palm.
The fuzzy little flowers seemed to sense his warmth, and a continuous stream of green energy wafted from the quietly blooming clusters of flowers, swirling around his large brown palm.
That's so pitiful.
Is there really only one tree in such a vast celestial realm?
If this were in her own world, perhaps she could use cloning technology to clone the seed and cultivate a second plant.
"If only there were some kind of magic that could turn it into two."
Zhao Xi wanted to sit by the fireplace, reopen A Tu's book, and look for cultivation methods. "Are you really sure it's not in there?"
The giant buzzard shook its head, somewhat disdainfully: "This book is not as good as what my master wrote. Of course, my master tried many methods! He moved the Snow Rabbit into his magic weapon, but the Snow Rabbit grew wild and its roots were buried deep in the gravel, growing downy fur to resist the cold wind. The spiritual energy in the snowfield is thin and it is very cold, so it has adapted to the climate here. My master tried for a long time but could not find a way, so he had to embark on the journey to find this Snow Rabbit again."
He looked sad, “But later… after my master attained immortality, no one in the entire Lower Immortal Realm could keep it alive, so it could only wait to die.”
"Celestial Achievement?!" Zhao Xi thought in surprise, "Why did your master achieve Celestial Achievement? He can collect so many rare spiritual plants, couldn't he find one or two to help him improve his cultivation level and ascend to the Middle Immortal Realm?"
"When the master was riding his sword up the mountain, some villains chased after him with a whirlwind. After falling, he crashed into the mountain. Those people not only stole the spiritual plants, but also took away his essence."
The giant buzzard demon took out a broken piece of jade.
Stealing the spiritual plants? Stealing their essence?!
"Demons?!"
Zhao Xi was shocked.
Isn't Lin Che currently collecting demonic beasts and spiritual plants? Why were the demon race already harming these collecting enthusiasts more than a decade ago?!
No wonder I'm so lucky! Even while searching for some medicinal herbs for my little one, I overheard things related to the demon race!
The giant buzzard shook its head: "I don't know what the demon race is."
He remained isolated in the snowfield, and even this little bit of news was brought to him by other spirit pets.
Once the master attains enlightenment, the spirit pet can break free of the beast-taming shackles and become a free demon beast.
But the Great Buzzard Demon took pity on the only remaining snow rabbit in the world, which is why it continued to stay in Yunxiu Mountain.
