Mu Tianhua had already fainted and had no idea what kind of hellish situation he was in. He looked unusually weak.

Clearly sensing the serpent vulture's malicious gaze, Mu Chuchu remained silent, instead watching it warily.

"Heh, I really didn't expect that a fox spirit like you would actually protect a human so fiercely." The serpent-vulture continued to provoke Mu Chuchu, raising its sharp nails with a cold laugh, and continued to sneer, "But, does this human man you're protecting know that you killed his daughter?"

“I’m not like a scumbag like you who would break the Fairy Association’s rules. I didn’t harm the original owner of this body; I just borrowed her body. When I found her, she was already dead.” Mu Chuchu looked at the snake-vulture with disdain. “Since I’m using this body, this man is my father. If you dare touch him, I’ll skin you alive!”

The serpent eagle raised an eyebrow, then suddenly laughed and said, "The way you're doing this makes me even more eager to kill him."

After saying that, the serpent vulture suddenly flashed and rushed in front of Mu Chuchu.

The two palms met, and terrifying demonic energy, accompanied by power, shattered the ground, forming cracks that resembled a spider web.

A terrible, excruciating pain swept over her, and Mu Chuchu could almost hear the screams coming from her own body.

Her body was human, far less robust than that of the demon race, and she was very easily injured.

Gritting her teeth, Mu Chuchu glared warily at the snake-vulture.

"Nine-Tailed Fox, you're so protective of humans, but don't you think about how they see you? Do you really think they'll be grateful to you? Heh, I think you're just daydreaming." The Serpent Vulture sneered at Mu Chuchu, continuing its mocking laugh, "If you don't believe me, then let's try it out."

Just as Mu Chuchu was about to ask if the Serpent Vulture was mentally challenged, she suddenly felt Mu Tianhua, who was on her back, move.

"You vixen, I want to avenge my daughter." Mu Tianhua jumped off Mu Chuchu's back and pulled out a dagger hidden in his sleeve.

Mu Chuchu never expected that Mu Tianhua's speed would be even faster than she had imagined, and she could feel the terrifying aura emanating from the dagger even more clearly.

This is a magical artifact for exorcising demons. She was already injured, and if she were to be stabbed in a vital spot, she would surely die.

Seeing the anger flickering in Mu Tianhua's eyes, Mu Chuchu's heart sank.

Mu Tianhua trembled with fear, putting all his strength into the dagger. Half of the dagger was embedded in the snake vulture's chest, heading straight for its heart!

However, the snake vulture's body was covered with a thin layer of snake scales, which looked inconspicuous but were actually very hard. Mu Tianhua tried his best but still couldn't pierce its heart.

Unwilling to accept the sight of blood seeping from between his fingers, Mu Tianhua gritted his teeth and tried to pull harder, but the snake vulture screamed in exasperation and then lashed out with its tail at Mu Tianhua.

Startled, Mu Chuchu quickly wrapped her fox tail around Mu Tianhua's waist and pulled him back hastily.

However, the serpent vulture had used all its strength in that attack, and its tail still left a clear bloodstain on Mu Chuchu's tail.
