A dramatic beauty queen VS a manic yandere (full immersion?? dual illness?? forced?? 1V1 clean romance?? ancient romance) :
Crystal coffins are fake, princesses are fake.
Good-hearted,...
Que Fu climbed toward the crystal coffin while thinking about it.
He thought that he was truly devoted to Yan Li, and that he was willing to risk his life for her, so he might be able to wake her up.
Thinking this, he grabbed the edge of the crystal coffin and prepared to stand up, but before he could push Wen Ze's 'corpse' away, help Yan Li up, and give her a kiss.
Suddenly, a sword pierced through his chest.
"General Que, I reminded you not to go upstairs at night to disturb the lord, why won't you listen to my advice?"
"They're just young people, they don't understand social etiquette at all."
Que Fu was completely dumbfounded.
The middle-aged steward pulled the sword out of Que Fu's chest, then took out a white cloth from his pocket and carefully wiped it.
He seemed unaware that he had killed someone, or perhaps he simply didn't care about the life he had taken.
In the steward's eyes, no one was above the lord, and anyone who disobeyed orders and intended to harm the lord deserved to die.
At this point, Que Fu was powerless to reverse the situation. He clutched his wound, his eyes wide with anger, but his body slowly collapsed.
Looking at the calm-faced butler, she never imagined that she would die at the hands of a servant.
Que Fu passed away with five holes in his body.
The steward ignored Que Fu's astonishment, only glancing at the lord and his wife lying in the crystal coffin before letting out a long sigh.
Why is this how relationships are conducted? It's always about life and death.
Thinking this, his gaze fell on the lifeless Que Fu, and without hesitation, he grabbed his foot and walked out.
The flowers in the garden were in dire need of fertilizer, so the specially prepared crystal coffin came in handy.
Thinking about it this way, life doesn't seem so bad.
…*…
After an unknown amount of time, a light seemed to flash through the darkness. Yan Li slowly opened her eyes and was stunned to find herself lying in a crystal coffin.
The crystal coffin was extremely clean, without any warmth or bloodstains, and there was no trace of blood left on her fingers.
As if thinking of something, Yan Li pursed her lips again.
There are no wounds.
She sat up, looked around, and finally realized that she was truly awake, no longer a princess, but a warrior who had come to save her.
After regaining her senses, Yan Li stepped out of the crystal coffin and opened the door.
The butler stood to the side, and upon seeing her, a slight smile appeared on his lips. He said, "Miss Yan, the lord said that once you wake up, you can go directly to the last room on the second floor to find him."
Yan Li: "Okay."
The last room on the second floor, as agreed, will contain the remaining crystal coffins.
Although she didn't know what else would happen in that dream, Yan Li could feel that she was getting closer and closer to the truth.
Yan Li walked down without hesitation, but did not notice the deep meaning in the eyes of the butler who delivered the message.
"Knock knock—"
"Come in," Wen Ze's voice came from inside the house.
Yan Li pushed open the door and went in, where she saw Wen Ze sitting on a single sofa, holding a wine glass in his hand and swirling it casually.
The red liquid swirled around. Wen Ze took a small sip, then turned his head to look at Yan Li. "Yan Li is awake?"
"Then come and sit down."
But apart from the four crystal coffins, the only other thing in the room was the single sofa where he was sitting.
Where is she sitting?
Seeing that Yan Li didn't move, Wen Ze chuckled, got up and walked towards Yan Li, took her hand, led her to the sofa, and pressed her down.
"What are you afraid of?"
"This isn't a dream; no one will take your life."
Just as Yan Li was struggling to get up, she felt a tightness in her hands and feet. Looking down, she realized that the sofa beneath her was hiding something.
Her hands and feet were firmly handcuffed to the sofa.
"What do you mean?" Yan Li raised her eyes and looked at Wen Ze in front of her: "I remember I explained it to you, but you didn't believe me."
"I really didn't mean to kill you."
Yan Li gazed calmly at Wen Ze, assuming that the events in the dream had angered him. After offering an explanation, she hoped that the person in front of her could reason with her.
Upon hearing this, Wen Ze placed his hands on either side of the sofa, leaned slightly forward, looked at Yan Li in front of him, and replied casually:
Is this important?
"You didn't intend to kill me, wasn't it because you were afraid that if I died, I would be trapped in that dream forever?"
"After all, if you don't wake up, you'll never be able to rescue your princess."
Yan Li: "..."
That is absolutely the truth.
But once some things are said out loud, the nature of the situation changes.
"Not entirely, I think you're quite pitiful too." Yan Li hesitated for a moment, but still said it:
"But at least that princess still cares about you, doesn't she?"
"Think about it, she would rather die herself than kill you to break the curse, which shows that she truly loves you."
Yan Li had not forgotten the curse he had blurted out in that dream.
She didn't want to die.
She was a little confused. Since he had already woken up, shouldn't the princess have woken up as well?
Unexpectedly, Wen Ze's smile deepened upon hearing this, but he still showed no intention of letting go of Yan Li, and even gave her a meaningful look.
This was the first time someone had ever pitied him.
That's really interesting.
“To be honest, you are indeed very different from the previous warriors.” Wen Ze’s tone had a calm madness to it. “They would only say that I deserved it and that I should die.”
At this point, he bent down and looked Yan Liping in the eye: "However, Yan, there's something you've guessed wrong."
