His hands were behind his back, and a flash of cold light passed by.

Gu Xu stared at him in the darkness for two seconds, knowing how timid this person was, and then stepped over.

He Wangyao smiled silently.

Mingzhu ran very fast. When she saw the tightly closed iron gate, she took out a talisman, bit her fingertip, and dripped a drop of blood onto it.

The talisman fluttered gently, drifting through the crack in the door. A few seconds later, the iron door opened.

When she reached the main building's entrance, she did the same thing again and quickly opened the door and rushed inside.

As soon as she entered the room, she smelled a strange, putrid odor.

All the curtains in the room were drawn, making it difficult for even moonlight to shine in. She examined the room and could see traces of a spatial array.

It's right in the direction of the stairs!

Mingzhuo rushed up, and as soon as he stepped onto the last step of the stairs, he heard the sound of wind in his ears.

Someone was hiding on the second floor and ambushed her!

Mingzhuo was in a hurry and had to deal with whatever was inside the house, whether it was a person or a ghost, before his family arrived.

She didn't waste any words, and the dark and windy night made it convenient for her to take action.

Forced back by her fierce aura, the man retreated repeatedly.

Mingzhuo sensed something and abruptly stopped. "Why is it you?"

Gu Xu looked at the person in the darkness and said calmly, "That's the question I should be asking you."

Mingzhuo sensed a heavy yin energy on the ground beside her, so she lit a talisman.

The firelight illuminated a person lying unconscious on the ground.

The fire went out, and the two stood in the darkness without speaking for a moment.

Gu Xu suddenly realized that this seemed to have caused a misunderstanding. "There was a power outage at home, and he became frightened and acted somewhat recklessly. I had no choice but to knock him unconscious. Please forgive me."

Seeing that the other party was acting like a madman, Gu Xu thought for a moment and simply knocked him unconscious.

Although the other party was able to sneak in even though I had closed the courtyard gate and the main gate, their actions were highly suspicious.

Gu Xu walked to the edge of the corridor and turned on the corridor lights. The bright light poured out, illuminating everything in the corridor.

Mingzhuo never expected things to turn out this way. The spatial magic array was inexplicably broken, and the evil spirit was lying unconscious on the ground, its fate unknown.

She looked at the man in black in front of her; he was still so handsome, his skin so white it seemed to glow under the light.

Gu Xu's figure disappeared into the darkness.

Mother Ruan smiled and praised, "Zhuozhuo, that's a great idea!"

Ruan Mingxuan felt the chill of the early spring night and shivered inexplicably.

Gu Xu returned soon after.

He did exactly as Mingzhuo had instructed, splashing cold water on the man to wake him up, then carrying the terrified man out the door.

He Wangyao stared at him with resentment, never expecting that she would be defeated by an ordinary person.
