When the powerful Ming Zhuo woke up, she found herself an abandoned orphan about to be publicly disowned by a wealthy family on a show. Someone told her that her biological mother was a delicate mo...
Li Wenhe felt something was wrong that day, so he called Pei Di to his home to keep him company.
That evening, while the two were playing games in their room, the maid knocked on the door and came in. "Young Master, why did you leave your package outside?"
Li Wenhe then remembered that he had forgotten to open the package he received during the day.
The package was wet from the rain. He opened the cardboard box and stared at the contents for a moment.
It was a very realistic doll with two long, jet-black braids and wearing a deep red dress.
The skirt was soaked, and under the light it looked like it was stained with blood.
But when he reached out and touched it, it was indeed just rainwater, not blood.
Pei Di was surprised to see this after finishing a game. "Li Wenhe, you're actually playing with dolls?"
Li Wenhe shook his head. He was communicating with the store, saying, "This is not what I bought. Customer service said it might have been sent to the wrong address."
Although customer service told him to keep the doll, he still felt something was wrong and asked the maid to take the doll away and throw it away.
However, an hour later, when he got up to get a drink of water, he saw something in the yard through the floor-to-ceiling glass window.
It's that doll!
In the rain, the doll stood silently facing the direction of his room, as if it had been watching them all along.
Li Wenhe frowned. Just then, he saw that the shop owner had sent him another new message.
[Dear customer, I've confirmed, this isn't our product. Sorry, I'm new and not sure. Your order is still on its way and you should receive it tomorrow. Please check your inbox.]
Upon seeing this message, a chill ran down his spine, and he immediately decided to burn the doll.
Upon hearing this, Mingzhuo nodded, "Your decision is correct."
Li Wenhe was taken aback. "Could burning it have an effect?"
Mingzhuo looked at him in surprise. "This is an evil spirit, of course it's useless. Don't you already know that? But this can intimidate the other party and make them suffer a little."
Li Wenhe couldn't help but smile wryly, "Then forget it. If I anger it, I'll be in real trouble."
"Your idea is wrong. If you don't provoke it, do you think it will let you off the hook? You might as well strike first and let it know that you are not to be trifled with."
Li Wenhe: "If you encountered a ghost or evil spirit stronger than you, would you do the same?"
“First of all, your assumption is invalid.” After a pause, Mingzhuo continued, “However, I can also tell you that even if you can’t beat me, you have to take a piece of flesh from the other party. You can’t die a cowardly death.”
Pei Di had a lot to say about this: "Otherwise, why do you think she's the boss?"
Throughout Mingzhuo's life, she has never backed down in any fight. The greater the disparity in strength, the more ruthless she becomes, completely unafraid.
When he was in elementary school, there were always middle school hooligans who would come to "borrow money." Mingzhuo could beat those hooligans, who were a head taller than them, so much so that they would avoid his school when they saw students.
That's why he has such a fearsome reputation, making people afraid to mess with him.
Li Wenhe: "...I've learned a lot."
He paused, then continued.
He then went to the yard, picked up the doll, and prepared to burn it under the eaves.
Fearing it was too damp to burn, Pei Di had the servants pour some gasoline on it before lighting the lighter.
As flames leaped up, the doll let out a shrill scream, a sound that seemed to come from a human child, making one feel very uncomfortable.
It was at that moment that a gust of wind blew, sparks flew everywhere, and as everyone scrambled to get out of the way, the doll was somehow blown into the yard.
The rain quickly extinguished the flames, and the doll, with half of its clothes and hair burned, lay pitifully soaked in the rain, motionless.
Several servants, suppressing their panic, retrieved the doll but dared not burn it again, fearing that hearing that voice again would leave them with a lingering trauma.
After some discussion, everyone decided to take the thing to a temple more than ten kilometers away and throw it away.
After all, there are Bodhisattvas and monks in the temple, so they can definitely suppress such evil things!
They drove to throw the dolls away, and Li Wenhe, not wanting to hear that sound again, gave up the idea of continuing to burn them.
He and Pei Di returned to their room to continue playing games to distract themselves. Half an hour later, they received a call from the maid, who said that the things had been handed over to the monk to handle.
Just as the phone call ended, Li Wenhe noticed something outside the window. He looked up and saw the doll.
It looked at itself with its burned-out half eyeball, and then slowly, a strange smile appeared on its lips.
Li Wenhe's heart skipped a beat. Just then, the lights went out, plunging the entire villa into darkness.
Fortunately, Li Wenhe had specifically asked the housekeeper to turn on the emergency lights.
The puppet rushed in and began attacking Li Wenhe with a clear objective.
It was only then that Li Wenhe realized that this thing could also use a diversionary tactic, diverting several servants away, leaving only him and Pei Di in the entire villa!
Pei Di was astonished to see a flying doll. He grabbed his keyboard and rushed towards it.
With a snap, the keyboard was smashed to pieces by the doll.
The thing seemed pleased with its successful scheme and its trap, emitting a strange and eerie laugh.
Pei Di quickly discovered that this thing was impervious to blows and pain, incredibly strong, and could even fly; he was no match for it!
Remembering something, Li Wenhe suddenly spoke up, "Let my friend go, if you have the guts, come at me."
The doll turned its head, half of its eyeball "looking" at him, and it giggled happily.
If this person offends it, it will play a cruel trick on him and then tear his flesh apart bit by bit.
