When the powerful Ming Zhuo woke up, she found herself an abandoned orphan about to be publicly disowned by a wealthy family on a show. Someone told her that her biological mother was a delicate mo...
When Ruan Mingxuan saw the person appear at the door, the smile on her face faded.
She would never forget how frivolous and self-deprecating the man was that night.
What are you doing here?
He Wangyao snapped out of her daze. "Hello, Miss. I'm here to see... Ruan Mingzhuo."
Ruan Mingxuan frowned: "Miss? Who told you to talk so greasy! Also, Zhuozhuo isn't here."
He Wangyao was dumbfounded. How was she being greasy? "Miss" was just a way to get closer to someone; a lot of people use that these days.
Seeing the person standing dumbfounded at the door, Mingzhuo took the initiative to walk over and said, "Let's go outside and talk."
This matter is hard to explain. The second sister felt offended, but He Wangyao had no memory of that night. After all, what possessed his body at the time was an evil spirit, and his soul was still trapped in the ghost's den.
Ruan Mingying: "Zhuozhuo, we won't disturb you while you're talking. If anything happens, be sure to shout loudly, don't be afraid."
Ruan's mother: "Let Ah Hu wait at the door."
Even after leaving the villa, He Wangyao was still completely bewildered. "Master, why do I feel like your family has a lot of opinions about me?"
Mingzhuo recounted what happened that night to him.
He Wangyao: "No, I'm innocent, Master! I'm not that kind of person!"
Mingzhuo: "I know, but this shouldn't be made public. Please try to avoid my family."
For the next few minutes, He Wangyao became withdrawn. Just thinking about what other bad things that evil spirit might have done with her body made her feel terrible.
"Alright, hurry up and tell me what it is?" Mingzhuo urged as soon as they entered Luowu Residence.
He Wangyao snapped out of her daze. "It's like this, one of my dad's business partners, his daughter has recently run into some trouble..."
His uncle, because he was always busy making money, neglected to discipline his children and was the kind of person who bought affection with money.
He himself had a tough life, and he felt that he had given his children a life where they had no worries about food and clothing, so what was there to complain about? After all, you have to give up something to gain something.
But his daughter didn't see it that way. She felt that everyone else had their parents accompany them to class meetings or spring outings, and that it meant he didn't love her because he sent his secretary to take care of her!
The father and daughter had an argument not long ago. After the argument, the daughter thought to herself, "If you don't love me, what's the point of my life?"
The rich young lady, feeling lonely and empty after spending all her money, decided to prove her innocence by taking her own life, leaving her family with a corpse so her father could regret it.
She searched online for many methods of suicide, tried them, but was afraid of the pain and the ugly death, so she gave up on them one by one.
Unexpectedly, someone added her on QQ and pulled her into a group.
The comments in that group were all very negative; they were even discussing how to commit suicide quickly. It was clearly a suicide pact group.
At first, the daughter joined the discussion to vent her emotions and because she thought it was fun. Then, under the guidance of the administrator and the group leader, she made an appointment with several people to commit suicide at the City Hundred-Foot Tower.
She thought it was just a casual online joke; after all, why would anyone want to die? If she wanted to get revenge on her father, she might as well buy a few more handbags.
She didn't go on the day they agreed, and who knew that the next day she would see on the news that three people had committed suicide by jumping off a hundred-foot building.
Those people had stones tied to their chests before they fell from buildings hundreds of meters high, their blood and brains splattering everywhere, their deaths extremely gruesome.
What was originally just a short description in the news, my daughter felt as if she had witnessed it firsthand. The scene flashed through her mind, and she got so scared that she developed a fever that night.
She was utterly terrified and wanted to leave the group, but found that she couldn't leave no matter what she did.
Not only that, she started having dreams, and for several days in a row, she dreamt of three bloodied and mangled figures questioning her about why she deserted her post.
The three men were initially far away from her, but as time went on, she noticed that they were getting closer and closer, and their expressions were becoming increasingly ferocious and terrifying.
It was as if if he got any closer, any closer, he could pounce on her and tear her to pieces!
She was utterly terrified by this speculation and dared not take the blame alone, so she hurriedly told her father what had happened.
At first, the uncle thought his daughter was exaggerating and using the same old tricks to threaten him, so he didn't take it too seriously.
But that night he still made a point of leaving get off work early and going home, only to find his daughter with her eyes closed, cutting her wrists with a knife in the middle of the night.
Blood flowed on the floor in front of the bed, staining a strange pattern.
The uncle was terrified and, together with the butler and servants, managed to wrest the knife away. When his daughter woke up, her first reaction was to scream in fright.
"Dad, they're going to catch me! They're about to catch me!" The daughter said these words before fainting.
After hearing the story, Mingzhuo looked up and found that Gu Xu had returned at some point.
He held his suit jacket in his hand, revealing a section of his wrist bone that was as white as snow.
"Sorry, I heard you talking, so I didn't want to disturb you." Gu Xu stepped in.
He Wangyao stood up subconsciously. "Axu, you're back."
After greeting Gu Xu, Ming Zhuo said to He Wangyao, "According to you, this matter is very serious and must be resolved tonight."
The previous dream was still far away, but now it has reached the point where it can hurt people. In the next step, this girl will be doomed.
He Wangyao also knew the seriousness of the matter, but that uncle only remembered to contact Hezhou in the afternoon. He had already rushed over as soon as he received his father's call.
He tensed up instantly. "What should we do? They're in Baichi City. Can we get there now?"
