Having served the Empire for half of his life, Ela was decisively sold out. He intended to flee to another country but was nearly beaten to death during his escape before being saved by a dragon-gi...
To be honest, back then, after Yinla entered the Tower of Pure White, he was remembered by many people... How should I put it, his resume is very legendary.
To put it simply... Before entering the Tower of Pure White, Illa's first burst of magic killed Duke Caligula's youngest son, directly leading to the exile of all her playmates.
Originally, Illa and his playmates were to be hanged, but the incident was caused by Caligula's youngest son trying to assault the daughter of another minor nobleman... and since it happened in the capital, the case was transferred to the court.
In that place, Caligula's power couldn't do much; his influence hadn't extended that far... Perhaps his personal influence could play a role in executing the still-childish Illa.
But Caligula didn't do that... He was a very cold-hearted person. Since his son had been caught doing bad things and had brought shame to the Caligula family, it was only natural for him to die.
So the court sentenced everyone to exile, but Illa was not among those exiled... His playmates helped him avoid punishment, his magic was of high quality, and he was protected by a minor nobleman.
The latter two are more crucial... so he came to school.
On the first day of school, in front of everyone, she was verbally humiliated by one of Caligula's children, who was also a senior student studying at the Tower of Pure White... The rest is irrelevant.
In short, three months later, Yinla challenged that senior to a duel, and then very cleanly and efficiently used the spell "Pure White Swift Blade - Blood" to behead him within three seconds of the duel starting.
From then on, Yimra began to enter the public eye.
What happened next was quite interesting. Caligula's henchmen and their children began to fight against Inra in exchange for benefits outside the tower... But as time went by, Inra grew stronger and stronger.
Finally, after defeating the younger ones, the older ones came; after defeating the older ones, even older ones came. It can be said that... Yinla's name only became truly renowned after she nearly shattered the Tower of Pure White.
The nickname "Cruel Blood Witch" was also born at that time.
It sounds like a plot that's incredibly satisfying, like something out of a wish-fulfillment novel, but for Yimra's dream, it's just an interlude... a story that's not worth telling at all.
"Senior, I heard you were kicked out of the Empire?"
A cute girl wearing a wizard's hat, pulling down the brim, said, sticking out her pink tongue adorably, "Why don't you join us? My country may not be big, but I'm sure I'll treat you very well here."
Clearly, she is another young empress... I wonder which small country she comes from.
"What? Isn't Illa already working in the Demon King's territory?"
A man spoke, nodding with certainty, saying, "I've already heard about it. It's because Ira fell in love with a monster disguised as a human, and then eloped with him after his identity was exposed."
In response, Yinla shook his head with emotion, clearly denying the rumor. He said, "That's not true at all. I was kicked out by a strange nobleman... not Caligula. He may be an idiot, but he's not mentally challenged."
Illa said this, offering a sharp critique of Duke Caligula's political thinking.
Vera and Mobiras, who were clearly ignored by the mages, exchanged a glance... They didn't seem to care much, or rather, they were happy to be left alone, avoiding gossip like that from Illa.
"By the way, senior... I recently transformed into a vampire, and I have some questions to ask you."
A junior mage in a tuxedo said this, holding up an umbrella conspicuously, and asked while holding up a transcribed parchment, "I've read Senior Yinla's thesis many times, but I don't quite understand what he wrote about... coagulation reaction."
The monks quickly quieted down amidst the academic questions, listening to their junior's inquiry. Yinla listened as he asked, "Mana participates in the conversion of soluble fibrinogen to insoluble fibrin in a special way, accelerating and intensifying the reaction."
Yinla remembered that he had indeed written this passage in his thesis... which was the academic report he used to evaluate his mage title. He had written many similar reports, some of which contained combat techniques, and his mentor listed them as required reading for his school of thought.
What's wrong with this part?
Yinla asked this question.
The younger blood mage then demonstrated it, using his own blood to create a crystal-clear blood sword with a light incantation... This was Yinra's improved spell, [Pure White Swift Blade - Blood].
According to the rules, this spell should be named after Yinla: [Yinla Blood Swift Blade] [Elkaras Blood Swift Blade], but Yinla explicitly refused this naming.
“Senior, in this paragraph you wrote… Blood clotting as a weapon and blood clotting healing have the same essence. Mana’s role is to turn blood into a blade rather than to form a block.”
"The amount of mana supplied makes the weapon increasingly robust and sharper, but there is a threshold to the amount of mana supplied; the more mana supplied, the worse the effect, making it infinitely close to the strength of the Pure White Swift Blade but unable to reach it."
As the younger blood mage spoke, while the surrounding mages listened quietly, he asked, "Then, can I understand that if the involvement of blood is reduced or eliminated in this process, and pure white swift blades are constructed solely from mana, would that be better?"
"..."
"That's true, which is why I never recommend that mages who are not of the [Rare Blood] type learn Pure White Swiftblade: Blood."
