Boom boom boom!

A helicopter hovered in the sky above a desert, emitting a deafening roar.

On the helicopter were Qin Ziling, Fan Wang, Chu Xinyue, and a military pilot.

"Is this the place?"

Qin Ziling glanced down and asked calmly.

Fan Wang nodded: "This desert is just a decoy. The real location of immortality is actually beneath the desert, beneath which lies a man-made underground city!"

Qin Ziling narrowed his eyes slightly.

Building an underground city in a place like this must be quite an achievement!

This cannot be accomplished by human effort alone.

Without the support of other forces, even if they were to wage a large-scale war here, it would likely be detected by satellites, at which point the military would be deployed.

But they succeeded!

However, he was not surprised, because immortality does indeed possess this ability!

"How do we find out where it exists?" Chu Xinyue asked calmly.

Fan Wang said, "The location of this underground city is not fixed. Its coordinates will change with the shifting sands, so to find it, one must be an insider of Eternal Life."

"Go down," Qin Ziling said.

"Are we just going to go down like this?" King Fan was speechless; this place was hundreds of meters high!

Qin Ziling certainly wouldn't jump from that height to his death, so he told the pilot to lower the altitude to about a few dozen meters.

Qin Ziling kicked Fan Wang, and the latter fell directly out of the helicopter.

Fan Wang: ...

Qin Ziling and Chu Xinyue exchanged a glance, then jumped out.

They were all experts of the eighth rank or above. Falling from this height wouldn't kill them, especially since it was just sand below.

"Cough cough cough! At least say hello!" Fan Wang said speechlessly.

"Hmm?" Chu Xinyue glanced at him, and the latter quickly shut up.

"Find the entrance to the underground city," Qin Ziling said calmly.

Fan Wang nodded, then suddenly slapped his chest and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Qin Ziling and Chu Xinyue both looked puzzled. What's wrong with this guy? Is he trying to harm himself?

After spitting out his blood essence, King Fan muttered something under his breath.

Immediately afterwards, the earth began to tremble.

Qin Ziling looked down warily, somewhat surprised.

The sand broke open, and a colossal creature suddenly burst through the sand and appeared in the air. This creature was enormous, with a body the size of a truck, and its mouth was full of sharp teeth, making it look like a maggot!

"This is the real reason why the underground city operates. It's called the Death Roundworm, a mutated creature created by the secret experiment of immortality. Their strength is astonishing; even ordinary martial artists are no match for them," Fan Wang explained.

Qin Ziling examined the wriggling behemoth. The insect's power was indeed astonishing; its aura alone reached at least the fourth rank.

As if struck by a thought, he asked, "How many of these would it take to keep the dungeon running?"

Prince Fan said in a deep voice, "Over a thousand!"

Upon hearing this, even Qin Ziling's expression changed.

Fan Wang suddenly added, "They produced a thousand, but over the years, with reproduction, the number has probably become quite astonishing."

Qin Ziling frowned. If these terrifying creatures were allowed to invade the human world, it would likely cause a huge disaster.

Just as they were about to make their move, the ground suddenly began to tremble.

"What happened?"

Qin Ziling's expression changed.

Fan Wang looked into the distance with some horror: "Impossible? This fluctuation... something is coming out from underground!"

Qin Ziling and Chu Xinyue both became serious.

They also sensed this change and were puzzled as to what it was.

"roar!"

At this moment, the giant insect suddenly let out a terrifying roar. It seemed to suddenly go berserk, and it opened its huge mouth and charged towards Qin Ziling!

Qin Ziling's face darkened, and he raised his hand to throw a punch!

The punch directly shattered the opponent's skull!

Just then, countless giant insects burst out of the desert. Their numbers were astonishing, their bodies enormous, and they were intertwined with each other, creating a truly awe-inspiring scene!

Qin Ziling suddenly said.

This was the first time Chu Xinyue had shown a serious expression.

Above the endless swarm of dead roundworms, a figure hovered. He simply hovered there quietly, yet he seemed to merge with the heavens and earth, and a terrifying pressure spread like a tide!

“That…that is…” Fan Wang’s face was blank, and he was so excited that he was incoherent.

Qin Ziling squinted at the other person. Although they were hundreds of meters apart, Qin Ziling could feel that the other person's gaze was also on him.

Could this guy be the Lord of Immortality?

"As expected, we arrived too late."

At that very moment, a weathered voice rang out.

The group turned around to look, and an old man walked through the air.

Qin Ziling narrowed his eyes: "You are, that person from Kyoto?"
