Having faced setbacks for several days in a row, Miao Chen unusually stayed in his dormitory that day instead of going out, tinkering and making things.

Several boys, bouncing around on basketballs, walked noisily into the dormitory, chatting animatedly. One of them caught sight of Miao Chen and exclaimed in surprise, "Fourth Brother, didn't you go out today?"

"Then it's settled." Shi Jing checked the time. She had been busy all day and hadn't had dinner yet. Her roommates were tagging her in the group chat. "I won't bother you anymore. My roommates are calling me to go out for dinner. You should go do your own thing too."

"Haven't eaten yet? Then you should go quickly. We can talk again later."

After hanging up the phone, Shi Jing turned off his phone and quickly replied to a few messages in the group chat.

"Wait for me, I'll be right there!"

The group ate dinner in the cafeteria, chatting about recent hot topics on campus.

One of the hot topics is the preparation for the New Year's Eve gala.

Every department in the school had to sign up for a program, and Shi Jing's department was no exception. Although her dorm didn't join in the fun, they still got the attention they deserved.

This year's New Year's Eve party is scheduled for December 26th in the school's auditorium. There are no specific requirements for attendees. If you have friends, you can bring them along, as long as you can get a seat.

The Beijing Film Academy's party is scheduled for December 28th. Compared to Beijing University, Beijing Film Academy's schedule is much more elaborate. They cancel classes on the afternoon of the 28th, hold a small market first, and then have the party in the evening.

Students from other schools are also allowed to attend the Beijing Film Academy's gala, but each student ID can only bring one person from another school.
