"Your Majesty, do you know me?" Reiner looked into the Queen's eyes.
He felt that the Elf Queen was not as unattainable as he had imagined, and seemed quite approachable to him.
The Elf Queen smiled gently. "I saw you from afar when you first passed through the forest. Since then, I've often heard patrolling elves complain about you destroying trees in certain places."
Reiner was speechless for a moment.
He did sometimes practice with trees, but only sometimes.
As long as he can find some stones, he will definitely practice with them first.
The Elf Queen smiled gently again: "I don't mean anything else, I'm just chatting with you, don't misunderstand."
She extended her hand and said softly, "Formally introduce yourself, Veroniya. This is my name."
Reiner looked at her fair hand, wondering what she was going to do by extending it.
Shake hands?
But her back of the hand was facing up and her palm was facing down.
Could it be a kiss on the hand?
But this is the etiquette of a nobleman towards a noble lady.
But looking at the two elf guards next to him who were staring closely, it didn't seem like that.
As far as Reiner knows, humans and elves seem to have slightly different etiquette. They seem to have a stronger sense of boundaries and do not like physical contact with others.
Of course, the exceptions are the two elves, Eliana and Zephyros, who often put their arms around Reiner.
After a brief brainstorming session, Reiner prioritized the method with the lowest risk.
He straightened Queen Veroniya's hand and then shook it slightly up and down: "You, I'm Reiner."
Reiner's actions seemed to have caused Veronia's brain to freeze. She asked in confusion, "Reiner, which country are you from?"
"Me? I'm not from the Earth anyway."
Veroniya spoke again: "I thought you would kiss the back of my hand."
Is it really a kiss on the hand?
The two damn guards next to him were waiting, making Reiner think that he couldn't kiss her.
"Next time, for sure."
Veroniya laughed twice more: "Interesting human..."
She glanced at Lelith beside her and whispered, "I heard that you and Miraz are friends?"
"Your Majesty, you must have some misunderstanding. She and I are not friends." Lalith shook her head and did not continue.
Veroniya nodded and smiled without saying anything. She turned and walked to Serena, bending down slightly to help her up. "Serena, did you just say you had something to talk to me about?"
Serena lowered her head and said, "Your Majesty, I have found a way to cure Osevillar."
Veroniya said, "Reiner?"
"Yes, he has extraordinary magical reserves and may be able to fully utilize the power of the scepter. I think it might be worth letting him give it a try."
Veroniya looked at Reiner and handed him the staff: "Come, take the staff and see what happens."
Reiner glanced at Selina, and when she nodded, he took the golden scepter and handed the Breath of the Red Dragon to Lalith beside him.
At first, Reiner didn't feel anything. He felt that it was just an ordinary staff, only slightly heavier than the Breath of the Red Dragon.
After more than ten seconds, he gradually felt the staff and the light element in his body making a humming sound, and the hand holding the staff felt a little itchy.
Seeing Veronia's expression seemed a little surprised, Reiner was puzzled. "What's wrong? This staff can't be touched? I remember that night elf didn't touch the staff directly either. She even wrapped a layer of black cloth around it."
Veroniya smiled again, her eyes carefully examining Reiner...
