In the blink of an eye, another seven days passed.
It had been three days since I last saw Lalith. She had broken through from the upper level to the extreme level. After saying goodbye to Reiner briefly, she dived into the pitch-black elemental sphere, looking for an exit to break the seal.
Reiner stood by the bed in the office, looked out towards the North, and sighed.
Little Lailisi stood on his shoulder, staring blankly with lifeless eyes.
Lilith came over, grabbing a handful of baked beans and eating them while asking, "Missing Mom again?"
Reiner nodded. "Yes, it's been three days since your mother broke the seal. There's been no news from her in those three days, so it's inevitable that I miss her."
"Don't worry, it's not like Mom's first time coming out. She might come out in a few days. Movila and Milas together are already five times stronger." Lilith shuddered at this. "Thinking about it, it seems my good days won't last long, damn Mom."
Reiner elbowed her: "Why don't you love your mother at all?"
Lilith's lips curled up slightly: "Hey, I love you too, but the love of a demon is different from the love of a human."
"You're half-demon." Reiner elbowed her lightly.
Lilith put the bean into her mouth, chewed it for a few times, and replied vaguely, "It's the same for half-demons."
As soon as the voice fell, the office door was pushed open. Martina strode towards Reiner and hugged him: "Honey, I want to go see Helitos. Take me there quickly."
Reiner counted on his fingers, then pinched Martina's ears. "That kid is already 23 years old, and you still have to go see him every now and then?"
They were now in their forties or even fifties, but because of their contract with Lalith, they still looked as young as before.
Martina said seriously, "That's right. Helitos is my son. Even if he's only ten years old, he's still my son."
"This kid settled down in the Roseno area with Anahita and the others. He is not only a very famous adventurer, but I heard that he also opened a tavern and lives a comfortable life." Reiner shrugged.
"Then... I want to go see him too. The last time I saw this brat, he was surrounded by a bunch of women. He looked just like you!"
"That's an exaggeration. I think there were only four."
The last two companions of Helitos were a blood demon that was abundant in the local area, and the other was the daughter of an old noble in Diast, with beautiful long black hair. They were both very beautiful.
However, according to Reiner's observation, Helitos seemed to treat them as just ordinary friends.
But those four girls were different... Even if he couldn't hear their inner thoughts, Reiner could still feel the struggles and infighting between them.
"It's been three months, take me to see him!" Martina hugged Reiner tightly and said coquettishly.
Reiner sighed helplessly, then went downstairs and pulled Nora, who was making snacks in the kitchen.
When they came out, they saw Junice sitting leisurely on the sofa, and Reiner pulled her over.
"What's wrong? It's pulling and tugging." Junice yawned and asked in confusion.
Reiner kissed her cheek and said, "You don't have classes at the Academy, do you? Let's go see Helitos together after a long absence, and visit your hometown while we're there."
Junice leaned on Reiner's shoulder and said helplessly, "It's buried underground in my hometown."
"Then let's go take a look underground." Reiner nodded, then gave her a meaningful look, "And by the way, we can pick a daughter-in-law. You know."
Junice's mouth curled up slightly, she instantly became interested, then went back to the room to change clothes, and stood upright beside Reiner.
The four of them were teleported together, and as soon as they landed, they stood in a camp somewhere, while Helitos and others rested in the camp.
Anahita, who was tidying the campfire, was the first to notice Reiner and the others. She then picked up a small stone and threw it at Helitos, who was in a daze.
