Chapter 6 Monster

"Good morning."

Standing at the door was the man who exuded a strange aura. He was still wearing his wet black suit. He stood there smiling and greeted Yin Xiu calmly.

Yin Xiu was not surprised. According to the town rules, this person was indeed his roommate. He entered the novice copy obviously because this "newcomer" was here.

Yin Xiu was very calm, but the little girl sitting next to him suddenly became nervous. After she discovered the man, she hugged the doll in her hand tightly and shrank behind Yin Xiu, whispering nervously, "Brother, is that the man that Mom asked to take care of me too?"

Yin Xiu nodded, "Yes."

The man smiled and stared at the paper Yin Xiu handed over, then shook his head and said, "I can't see it."

"Yeah." Yin Xiu was sure that he was not a monster in the small town, nor a monster in the copy, but it was really not easy for him to follow him here.

"By the way, do you want to know my name now?" the man asked with a smile, his eyes still fixed on Yin Xiu as always.

"If you go change into dry clothes and come back, I will consider asking you." Yin Xiu turned around and ignored him.

The man thought for two seconds, then obediently turned around and went back to his room.

As soon as he left, the nervous little girl in the living room slowly relaxed and continued to play with the puppet in her hand, but she was obviously not concentrating.

The door of the next room creaked open again, and this time the man finally came out no longer soaking wet. The moisture on his body disappeared completely, but he did not change his clothes, still wearing the same black suit.

Yin Xiu didn't think he could find a second identical suit in this room that only contained women's and children's belongings, and he didn't know how he managed to dry himself in such a short time, so he simply ignored this question.

"May I have your name?"

The man smiled, "Li Mo."

Yin Xiu nodded. "Hello, Li Mo. My name is Yin Xiu. Could you please open your mouth now?"

Yin Xiu's sudden action stunned Li Mo, the little girl, and the players outside the screen.

In the blink of an eye, she changed from an innocent little girl to a terrifying monster, roaring and glaring. Even through the screen, the players unconsciously stepped back a few steps, for fear of seeing the same scene as in the next room.

But Yin Xiu was very calm.

He stared at the little girl's gradual transformation, grabbed her sharp hand, and led her to the table, saying lazily, "Don't cry, it's all my fault that I accidentally lost the note. But I remember what was written on it, so I'll copy it for you, how about that?"

The little girl's sobs choked, and confusion appeared on her distorted face.

The rules in the copy had been eaten by Li Mo, and the rules written by Yin Xiu obviously did not belong to the copy, but this did not violate the little girl's wish to see her mother's note.

It was all Yin Xiu’s fault for his messy actions. She didn’t know whether she should continue crying or not.

Seeing the little girl struggling, Yin Xiu raised his finger and pointed at Li Mo, who was watching the show with a smile. "If you don't want to, go find the note in his stomach yourself."
