Chapter 521: The Grand Finale

While she was looking down, President Li took a few more careful glances at her. She was fair-skinned and delicate, like a porcelain doll. She must have some skill to be able to get involved with the Yu family.

He was quite curious about the intricacies involved, but as a grown man, he couldn't very well ask too many questions.

Yuan Siyin smiled, lowered her head to take a sip of coffee, and rubbed her fingertips on the table, lost in thought.

As soon as Yu Shiyan got out of the car in front of the coffee shop, he saw General Manager Li pacing anxiously by the flower bed. Upon seeing him, she immediately rubbed her hands together and took two steps forward to explain, "Young General Manager Yu, it's not that I'm not cooperating, it's just that Director Yuan, she suddenly stopped cooperating!"

"What's going on?" Yu Shiyan frowned slightly.

Wasn't the path he arranged for her good?

Or was it that Mr. Li's actions were too obvious, making Little Sparrow realize that it was a deliberate arrangement?

"Where?" Yuan Siyin was pressed into the car and fastened her seatbelt when he suddenly had a bad feeling.

Yu Shiyan and the others stepped on the gas pedal before slowly replying, "Going home to meet the parents."

"How can that be the same!"

She was somewhat embarrassed and angry. Seeing that the light ahead was red, she took advantage of the moment while waiting for the light to turn red to pinch his waist as revenge.

Yu Shiyan didn't care at all. He just beckoned to her with his finger. When she didn't fall for it, he simply hooked her chin and kissed her, nodding seriously, "It was worth it."

Yuan Siyin shrank back, sulking and ignoring him. She fiddled with her phone for a while, "I need to hurry up and buy some things to send by express. Give me the address. I can't just come empty-handed. You'd be embarrassed, but I'd be embarrassed too."

Yuan Siyin leaned against him, feeling a great weight lifted from her shoulders.

Yu Shiyan gently smoothed her stray hairs, his eyes full of amusement: "Tired?"

Yuan Siyin shook her arm listlessly, the jade on her wrist jingling: "I can understand the love tokens passed down from our ancestors, but how do you explain so many?"

Yu Shiyan chuckled softly, gently taking down a few for her, and teased, "I guess all the great-grandmothers, great-great-grandmothers, and great-great-great-grandmothers had some."

"Don't try to play games with me, I'm not falling for that." Yuan Siyin's grip loosened considerably, and she snorted.

The setting sun blazed brightly and continuously, casting its even rays upon the two people who were pressed closely together, creating a beautiful scene.

The sunset looked just like that day, yet it was different.

Yuan Siyin and Yu Shiyan exchanged a glance, and she murmured, "This time I can accompany you for a long time, Mr. Yu."

"It would be my pleasure, Miss Yuan."
