Today is January 1st, 75th year of the New Year. Perhaps to bring good luck for the new year, or to celebrate the safe birth of the children, the sun is shining, which is quite rare.

When the car stopped in front of the house, Grandma and Third Aunt were already waiting. As soon as the car stopped, Grandma took the child from Huo Haocheng and carried her into the house. Huo Haocheng tucked the blanket around Ruan Ruan's body to make sure there were no gaps, then carried her out of the car and into the house.

Wang Qun and Bai Sirui followed behind them, carrying the items.

After Bai Sirui and Ruan Shaolin went inside and had a sip of water, they returned to the team. Huo Haocheng, as the team leader, took three days off to take care of his wife and children, and Bai Sirui, as the vice-captain, took over the task.

After placing Ruan Ruan and the child on the bed, Huo Haocheng asked worriedly, "Wife, is anything bothering you?"

"I'm fine, you don't need to be so nervous. Go check if the child has peed."

Back home, lying on my own bed, Ruanruan felt much more relaxed.

Huo Haocheng was more clingy than before. She knew that what she had done had really scared him, so she figured it was okay for him to be a little clingy.

"Honey, the baby really peed. They didn't even cry. How did you know?" Following his wife's instructions, he checked the baby's condition, opened the swaddle blanket, and saw that the baby had indeed peed and wet his pants.

Ruan Ruan was also puzzled by Huo Haocheng's question. She really couldn't answer it. She wanted him to go see the children so that he would have something to do and not overthink things.

"I just checked the time and thought they probably needed to pee, so I asked you to go check on them. Have your mother come help you change the baby; it's cold now, and if you don't change them quickly, they'll easily catch a cold."

Watching Huo Haocheng hold the child's pants in his hand, turning them over and over, checking which side was the front and which side was the back, Ruan Ruan found it very funny. He's such a grown-up, yet he doesn't know how to ask someone for help when he doesn't understand something.

Hearing his wife laugh at him, Huo Haocheng wasn't angry. He covered the child with a blanket and went to the door to help. "Grandma, Third Aunt, please help me. The child wet the bed. How do I put on these pants? I don't understand. Which side is the front?"

The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, who were busy in the kitchen, heard Huo Haocheng say that the children had wet themselves. They put down what they were doing and came over. "Children's pants don't have front and back. They're all the same. Just put them on. As long as you don't put the wrong clothes on, it's fine." The old lady took the pants from his hand and came to the bedside. Together with Wang Qun, they quickly began to change the children's pants and diapers.

Huo Haocheng studied very carefully on the side. He wanted to take care of the child himself, but unexpectedly, his plan failed before he could even put it into practice.

"Oh my, these two children are so obedient. Even like this, they haven't woken up yet. It seems they are quite easy to take care of." The old lady sighed as she held the two children, lifting their legs and turning them over, but they didn't make a sound.

"It's hard to say now. We'll see tonight. If she's like this while sleeping, then she'll be easy to take care of. The worst thing is if she sleeps now but won't sleep at night; that would be a real problem."

Hearing her grandmother's words, Ruan Ruan thought of many children who, when it was time for adults to go to sleep at night, would become energetic and need to be held, otherwise they would cry loudly and make it impossible for them to sleep.

“That’s true. We’ll see tonight. If they’re both little rascals, we’ll let them sleep with us. Your mother and I will each take one, and you can get some rest.” The old lady thought that Ruan Ruan needed to rest well at night during her postpartum period, and Huo Haocheng needed to make sure he got enough rest as he was going to work in a couple of days. So, it was better for the children to sleep with them. Anyway, they were fine with nothing to do, so they could just sleep with the children.

"It's alright, they'll sleep with us at night. That way, I can easily feed them if they get hungry." Grandma is getting old, how could they let her take care of the children at night just because they're worried about not getting enough rest? They can rest during the day while the children are sleeping. It'll just be a bit of a hardship for Huo Haocheng; he'll need to get up and lend a hand.

"That's fine too. Just let us know if you need anything." The old lady didn't insist on the matter. She knew that her children were worried about her health.

After agreeing on the terms, Huo Haocheng put the used diapers and pants into the basin he had prepared for the children and washed them.

When Huo Haocheng came in again, Ruan Ruan was already asleep, holding the children.

Huo Haocheng quietly checked on them and, seeing that they were all alright, then left.

"Grandma, I'm going to call Grandpa and the others. Ruan Ruan and the children are asleep. Go check on them in half an hour, if I'm not back by then..."

"Okay, go ahead. I already called home at noon, so you don't need to call again." The old lady was busy with her work and didn't even look up when she heard her eldest grandson's words.

Knowing that his grandmother had already called home, Huo Haocheng thought that if he could save a few minutes, he could be back in half an hour if he was quick.

So he pushed out the bicycle that was covered in dust under the eaves. The bicycle hadn't been ridden since Ruan Ruan became pregnant, and several months had passed, so it was covered in dust.

Huo Haocheng took a handkerchief hanging on the window, wiped it casually, and rode away.

On the way, I happened to run into Chaoxi, who was returning from shopping.

When Chaoxi saw him, she was quite surprised. "Brother-in-law, why are you back at this time? Is someone taking care of my sister?"

Upon hearing Chao Xi's words, Huo Haocheng realized that Ruan Ruan's decision to return home after being discharged from the hospital was made on short notice, and he hadn't had time to inform anyone else. "Your sister has been discharged from the hospital and is resting at home now. I'm going to make a call home," he said, and without waiting for Chao Xi to say anything more, he rode off on his bike.
