Time passed day by day, and the weather grew hotter and hotter. The two children gradually learned to roll over and grasp things. Soon it was May, and Ruan Ruan's birthday was just around the corner. Since Chao Xi and Su Yanqiu got married, both of them have been working and only eat dinner at home every day. They eat lunch at their respective cafeterias, and Su Yanqiu brings breakfast from the cafeteria. Therefore, they have not applied for a vegetable garden.

The vegetables they usually ate were given to them by the old lady when she came back from picking vegetables, enough for the two of them to eat for two days.

After arranging everything, Huo Haocheng bought tickets for May 3rd, and the day he arrived home was the same day he celebrated Ruan Ruan's birthday.

On the day of their departure, Ruan Shaoke drove them to the train station.

"When you go back this time, do you want to go to the capital?" Ruan Shaoke asked Ruan Ruan and Huo Haocheng in the back as he drove.

"Yes, I'm going," Ruan Ruan replied.

Their original plan for this trip was to stay in their hometown for a week, then go to Beijing for a week, and then return to the Huo family home to pick up Grandma and Wang Qun. This round trip would take up nearly half a month.

Wang Qun and Ruan Ruan checked if the children had urinated, changed their diapers, put them in a basin, and then asked Huo Haocheng to go to the toilet to wash them. They were ready to be washed and then scalded with hot water.

After everything was tidied up, Ruan Ruan sat down next to the child and sighed deeply.
