Jiang Yixing suddenly transmigrated to the Spirit Immortal Realm after graduating from university, cultivated for a hundred years, and finally became a Nascent Soul cultivator.
She thought fr...
As night fell, Rong Hang's scene came to an end, and Zheng Guiting raised his hand to signal that it was time to wrap up.
Rong Hang walked toward the sidelines with a deep gaze.
The actor he was acting opposite froze on the spot, unable to snap out of the scene he had just witnessed.
It wasn't until his assistant rushed up and woke him up that he snapped out of it, took the drink from his assistant, and glanced at Rong Hang with a complicated expression.
He really is a genius...
Recalling the fear from just now, it felt so real that even now, looking at Rong Hang's back, I tremble slightly.
But is Ronghang really unaffected?
Zheng Guiting was also worried about this. Occasionally, when Rong Hang spoke to him, he couldn't distinguish between reality and illusion.
He even felt that the characters in the script had come to life and were standing right in front of him.
Even he, as an observer, felt this way. Looking at the actors who acted opposite Rong Hang, they didn't interact with Rong Hang much because of the character's cold-bloodedness and ruthlessness.
He also worried that Rong Hang might have psychological trauma. After all, Rong Hang was his old classmate's son, and he couldn't just ignore him.
Zheng Guiting called out to Rong Hang, who was about to leave, "Rong Hang."
Rong Hang turned around. Because he was much taller than the director, he looked down at him from above. With his back to the lights, Zheng Guiting couldn't see the expression on Rong Hang's face.
She was the one who called out to him, but suddenly stopped.
He looks so much like Zhou Zhaozao, so much like that character in the drama…
Rong Hang tilted his head. "Director?"
Zheng Guiting snapped out of his daze, "Hey, hey, that..."
"Go back and get some rest. Don't get too caught up in the story."
This was the first time Zheng Guiting had said something like this to an actor. Normally, he would only tell actors to carefully study the plot, never to not get involved in the story.
However, when it came to Rong Hang, Zheng Guiting didn't have to worry about him not being serious enough; his only concern was that he would be too serious and unable to break character.
Among actors, those with natural talent are most prone to becoming so engrossed in their roles that they sometimes even commit suicide or suffer from depression.
Rong Hang nodded. "Then I'll be going now."
The hotel was right next door. After taking a shower, Rong Hang reopened the script.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, she took out her phone and opened WeChat.
When Jiang Yixing's message popped up, Rong Hang's eyes lit up.
Clicking on the picture revealed a food dish that resembled the stew he had seen in the North, but with more vibrant colors.
In the corner of the picture, you can see an arm that doesn't belong to Jiang Yixing. It has fair skin, but the shape of the wrist looks like a man's.
Rong Hang zoomed in on the image for a closer look.
From Jiang Yixing's perspective, he could see two bottles of drinks and at least three people, with at least one of them being a man.
Rong Hang pursed his lips. Could he be Jiang Yixing's agent?
Probably not. Her agent wouldn't allow her to eat those high-calorie foods in the picture.
Could it be... He Mang?
Rong Hang opened the keyboard, his slender, jade-like fingers gliding across the screen.
After fiddling around for a while, I only typed a few words, and then deleted them all.
Jiang Yixing's phone vibrated, and she picked it up.
The screen displayed a message from Rong Hang: "Having dinner?"
"Um."
Jiang Yixing, holding a grudge, only replied with a single word.
Rong Hang, however, seemed oblivious and continued to ask, "Are you with the crew?"
"Um."
Rong Hang felt a little relieved, at least He Mang wasn't on set.
A script lay open beside Rong Hang, and his phone screen remained lit, displaying his conversation with Jiang Yixing.
His long eyelashes drooped down, casting a beautiful shadow in the moonlight.
Jiang Yixing walked onto the balcony. Inside, the three people were chatting happily, with occasional laughter coming from inside.
On the balcony, the wind brushed against my cheeks and tousled my hair.
Rong Hang's deep voice came through the phone receiver:
"I'm currently filming a movie."
Jiang Yixing instantly sobered up halfway.
Just now, the four of them were in a good mood inside the house, so Ningzhou opened a bottle of wine.
Jiang Yixing also enjoys drinking; once the alcohol enters her system, her body automatically metabolizes it.
Today, she deliberately controlled the alcohol to prevent it from evaporating, and as the alcohol took effect, her face flushed slightly.
Filming?
"Are you filming a movie?" Jiang Yixing's voice was somewhat surprised.
"Um."
Rong Hang felt his heart racing; the wind blew across his face, taking away some of the heat.
Jiang Yixing imagined what it would be like for Rong Hang to enter the entertainment industry.
With such a stunning face, she's sure to stand out from the crowd and attract many female fans, right?
They would shower Rong Hang with compliments and would like him.
Jiang Yixing chuckled softly.
Does Rong Hang, who always has a stern face, also make all sorts of expressions?
“It’s really hard to imagine you being an actor,” Jiang Yixing paused, “but if you like it, that’s great.”
Rong Hang's heartbeat seemed to have never stopped accelerating, to the point that it was now beating at a very high frequency.
"Um."
Jiang Yixing looked up at the crescent moon, its pale light tinged with a warm yellow.
"Where are you now?"
"In City A."
Jiang Yixing considered the distance between City B and City A on the map, "Oh, that's quite far."
What are you filming? A TV series or a movie?
"The movie, The Vanished Criminal."
Later, Jiang Yixing and Rong Hang chatted for a while longer.
I learned that Rong Hang was inspired while reading the script, and then he broke through to the peak of Foundation Establishment in one fell swoop.
Jiang Yixing suddenly felt that the conversation was over.
How could someone suddenly have a breakthrough while reading the script?!
