Chapter 175 Birthday Surprise (2/2)

"I'm so embarrassed right now." Chanyeol's voice came from the monitor at the same time. He covered his face, feeling both touched and a little shy by the huge surprise and the members' thoughtfulness.

He suddenly realized something, looked at the camera directly in front of him with a puzzled expression, and tentatively asked, "In that case, are they all watching me from below right now?"

He wasn't quite sure where to address the camera, so he pointed to the top left corner and decided to record a thank-you message first.

He toned down his overly cheerful smile and tried to look serious, but the smile in his eyes was impossible to hide: "Thank you, kids. Thank you, members."

"What?!" "That's it?" "This isn't sincere!" "There's no soul in it!" The members on the second floor immediately erupted in protest, complaining at the screen that his thanks were too brief. Of course, this was all good-natured teasing.

"Congratulations, bro." Amid the laughter and chatter, someone offered their blessings.

"That's why they abandoned me," Park Chanyeol on the third floor was still recounting his experience of being abandoned and disliked during the day in front of the camera.

“Every time I went over there, the members’ reactions were a bit like, ‘Oh what? What are you doing here?’” He recalled the members’ surprised and flustered reaction when they saw him during the day, and their eagerness to get rid of him.

"What are you really here for?" The members in the second-floor waiting room joked and laughed as they looked at the monitor screens.

"That's not acting, what are you talking about?" Kim Junmyeon muttered to Chanyeol.

"Chanyeol misunderstood, that wasn't acting." Kim Jongdae laughed and agreed.

The camera cuts back to Chanyeol. The PD begins announcing the rules of the game: "These are all the birthday gifts the members bought for Chanyeol."

Chanyeol's eyes lit up as he looked at the mountain of gifts on the table, but then a hint of wariness appeared on his face. He jokingly asked the PD, "You're not only going to let me take half, are you?"

He breathed a sigh of relief after receiving a negative answer.

The PD continued, "After each person opens their gift, they can take the gift home if they guess correctly who prepared it."

"Just guessing right?" Chanyeol immediately made an exaggeratedly troubled expression, holding his head in his hands. "Isn't this too difficult?"

He knew that the members each had their own quirky thoughts and unique thought processes, so guessing the gift's owner would definitely be a challenge.

His concerns immediately resonated with the second floor, evoking feelings of both "resonance" and "threat."

"But hyung, it would be great if you could just guess them all and take them home." Kim Jongin kindly reminded him, as if to say, "Good luck, or the gifts will be gone."

"You absolutely have to take it with you, it's so important." The eldest brother, Kim Minseok, also emphasized the importance of the gift with a serious expression.

Ou Yangguang clenched his fists and gave a "kind" smile: "If you can't guess, just wait and see."

Do Kyungsoo succinctly replied, "Take a guess quickly."

Kim Jong-in has already started worrying about the order: "Which one should I give you first?"

Kim Jongdae suggested, "The bigger one."

Kim Junmyeon agreed: "I'd go for the bigger one." They were both filled with anticipation for the conspicuous guitar case.

On the third floor, Chanyeol had already adjusted his mindset, stood up and stretched his body, as if preparing for a tough battle.

"Ah, I even wrote a letter to that person," he thought, recalling the handwritten letter he had written during the day. He felt even more excited and pressured about the gifts he was about to open and the sentiments of his fellow members.

Chanyeol walked to the left side of the long table piled with gifts, deciding to start from that end. "Let's start from here and go in order."

He took a deep breath, his gaze sweeping over the first wrapped gift box in front of him, ready to begin this heartwarming yet exciting birthday guessing game.

Meanwhile, the members on the second floor held their breath, both anticipating his reaction when he saw the gift and nervous about whether he could guess who they were.

The most interesting and challenging part of the night, the one that truly tests teamwork, has officially begun.
