Jiang Wanning hugged him obediently and nodded, saying softly, "Hubby, I know I was wrong. Next time, no matter what happens, I will tell you. Don't be angry this time."

Lu Jingshen hugged her slender waist, lowered his eyes to look at her flattering expression, and snorted coldly, "I'll let you go this time. Next time if you hide something from me, I will punish you severely."

Jiang Wanning nodded and whispered, "Oh, I see." Then she thought about Li Shaoting being taken away by Dong Yi and the others, and wondered if he might get into trouble. She started to worry, "What are you going to do, Li Shaoting? Are you going to call the police? Or what else? You're in a special period right now, and I don't want to cause you any trouble. What if someone targets you and uses this as an excuse?"

Lu Jingshen raised his eyebrows and curled his lips: "It's okay, I'll take care of it." After that, he lifted her chin and said in a low voice: "Do you miss me?"

Jiang Wanning placed her hands on his shoulders, looked up at him, and nodded with bright eyes: "I miss you."

Lu Jingshen stared into her eyes and then at her red lips, lowered his head and kissed her. His voice was low and deep: "Didn't you just say you wanted to give me a bath? Come on? How do I plan to wash it?"

Jiang Wanning's eyes were a little evasive, her face flushed, and she lowered her eyes: "Just... just rinse it like that, how else can I wash it?" Her voice became smaller and smaller.

Lu Jingshen chuckled softly, his voice filled with a playful smile: "Then you wash it."

Jiang Wanning looked up at him, surprise in her eyes. Seeing the playful smile on his face, she turned her eyes away, her gaze just touching his bare chest. Her cheeks flushed crimson, her ears reddened, and she said in a very low voice, "Really...really let me wash it?"

Lu Jingshen said in a low voice: "Hmm."

Jiang Wanning's heart was pounding. She didn't dare look at him and said with a red face, "Okay." After that, she turned around to get a bath ball, poured shower gel, rubbed it into foam, and was about to apply the bath ball on her body when Lu Jingshen grabbed her hand.

Lu Jingshen said in a low voice: "I'm not used to using bath balls."

Jiang Wanning blushed and lowered her head slightly: "Then... then what should I use?"

Lu Jingshen narrowed his eyes slightly, chuckled meaningfully, and said, "I like to bathe with my hands."

Jiang Wanning immediately understood what he meant. In an instant, she felt like she was on fire. She raised her head slightly and glared at him, saying in a soft voice, "You... Lu Jingshen, you did it on purpose."

Lu Jingshen looked at her flushed face with a deep gaze, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth: "You said you wanted to give me a bath, so of course I will do it according to my idea."

Jiang Wanning pursed her lips shyly and whispered, "Okay, then... then don't move." After that, she used the foam on the bath ball on her hands and bathed him with her hands... and finally he ate her.

After an unknown amount of time, the bathroom door opened. Lu Jingshen carried the drowsy Jiang Wanning to the bed, bleaching her cheeks. He then dried her hair and lifted the covers before lying down.

The next morning, Jiang Wanning saw sunlight shining through a gap in the curtains. She turned her head slightly to glance at the sleeping Lu Jingshen, her eyes filled with dissatisfaction.

Last night in the bathroom... She should never again say she'd help him take a bath. What? Wasn't there something sane in this guy's head?

Seeing him sleeping so soundly, I guess he must be very tired after being on a business trip for three days.

She gently lifted the quilt. As soon as she got out of bed, her legs ached and trembled. She turned her head and glared at the person who was still sleeping on the bed.

She walked out quietly and closed the door.

When she went to the living room and took out her cell phone from her bag, she found that Sister Li had sent her several messages. She opened them and was shocked and surprised.

Jiang Wanning looked at the message sent by Sister Li, clicked on it and replied to two of them, and then saw that her mother called her.

She dialed, "Hello, Mom."

Jiang Ma: "Are you awake? What time will Mr. Lu arrive?"

When Jiang Wanning heard this, she was shocked and said in a panic, "Mom, let me ask Jingshen first. Jingshen just came back yesterday. I'll go ask him first and contact you when the time comes." After that, she hung up the phone, ran into the house, and shouted anxiously, "Lu Jingshen, Dad and Big Brother are coming over today, but they haven't booked a hotel yet. Where are we staying?"

Lu Jingshen squinted his eyes in a daze, and pulled the little girl standing by the bed into his arms. He said in a voice that had just woken up, "They arrived around eleven o'clock. I asked Dong Yi to book a hotel yesterday. They can stay at my other house, Yuebanwan. Don't worry, your husband has already arranged it. Kiss me."

Jiang Wanning reached out to his lips and kissed him, then he held the back of her head and kissed her.

He didn't let her go until she was breathless. He said in a low voice, "What time is it?"

Jiang Wanning said softly, "It's already past eight o'clock."

Lu Jingshen stroked her back and asked, "Why are you up so early? Aren't you tired?"

Jiang Wanning raised her hand and patted his chest, her tone carrying a hint of viciousness: "What do you think? I won't help you take a bath next time." His shrewd mind always benefits him and she always suffers!

Lu Jingshen opened his eyes, lowered his gaze to the little girl lying in his arms with a slightly blushing face, and laughed muffledly: "You said you would help me bathe, why are you still trying to cheat?"

Jiang Wanning got angry, broke free from his arms, then stood up and said angrily, "Am I talking about taking a shower like that? I'm talking about taking a normal shower, huh," and then turned and left.
