We had an outdoor barbecue in the courtyard that evening. Red wine paired with tender and juicy grilled meat was truly a great pleasure in life.

After dinner, Lin Yanwan took Shen Ying for a stroll around the villa. They originally wanted to go swimming in the pool, but since neither of them had swimsuits, they had to give up.

"Godmother, why don't we stay here tonight? I have plenty of rooms, enough for everyone to sleep in one room," Jiang Xia said with a smile.

Li Weiya hesitated slightly, then nodded. She had driven here, but she had just drunk red wine and couldn't drive anymore. Besides, tomorrow was the weekend, so she could rest.

"Xia, when are your parents and mother-in-law coming?"

"My flight is for July 14th, and I still have a few days left."

"Once they arrive, spend more time with them. Don't worry about the company," Li Weiya said.

"Yes, I know."

Now that Qitian Company has developed to this point, Jiang Xia no longer needs to keep an eye on things all the time. The organizational structure is quite complete, and the various departments can cooperate closely. He can spend more of his time on animation creation.

After resting for a while after dinner, Jiang Xia invited Wang Ming to take a bath in the pool next door. Since they were both boys, it didn't matter if they didn't have swim trunks, and they weren't afraid of being exposed in the private pool.

Wearing only shorts, they slowly waded into the pool. The icy cold water made them both shiver instinctively, but after getting used to it, they didn't feel cold anymore.

Wang Ming was doggy-paddled in the pool, while Jiang Xia lay on his back on the water, closing his eyes and slowly exhaling.

"Phew, Lao Jiang, this pool is awesome!" After swimming one lap, Wang Ming felt exhausted and followed Jiang Xia's example, lying on his back on the water.

Jiang Xia smiled faintly, "If you like it, bring Shen Ying here often in the future. Summer is here, how can you not swim?"

"That's what I thought too. The swimming pool outside is too dirty. Yours is much more comfortable," Old Wang remarked.

This is the life of the rich. Ordinary people can only go to swimming pools in the summer, where the water is only changed once in a long while, and who knows what other kinds of liquids might be in there. But the water here is changed every day, so there's no need to worry about hygiene at all.

A little while later, the two sisters slowly strolled back from outside and saw the two people floating quietly in the pool. They found it inexplicably funny.

Lin Yanwan took off her shoes, put her bare feet into the pool, and then scooped up water to splash on the two of them.

"Yingying, come and soak in the water too." She raised her hand and called out.

Shen Ying blushed and glanced at Wang Ming a few times. Although she had lived in Wang Ming's house for so long, the two of them would change their clothes in the bathroom after each shower, so they were somewhat conservative about their appearance.

Therefore, even though the two had been dating for so long, this was the first time Shen Ying had ever seen Wang Ming wearing only his underwear.

He's tall and thin, with hardly any muscle on his body. Maybe he used to have abs from playing sports, but now he sits in the office drawing every day, and his abs have become just one piece.

She doesn't have a perfect figure, but she likes it anyway.

"Hey, girl, snap out of it! Still looking?" Lin Yanwan teased, scooping up water and splashing it at her.

Shen Ying blushed slightly, quickly looked away, and sat down next to her best friend. She also took off her shoes and socks and put them in the pool water, just like her.

"Hmm, it feels so cool."

"Let's go buy swimsuits together tomorrow and take a dip in the pool while the weather is still hot."

"Uh-huh!"

Lin Yanwan suddenly leaned close to Shen Ying's ear and whispered, "Yingying, how far have things progressed between you and your idiot? Kissing? Or have you already said you've explored the origins of life?"

Hearing her best friend bring up such a suggestive topic, Shen Ying blushed and stammered, "No, it's just... we only kissed on the lips."

"Tsk tsk, I didn't realize Old Wang was such an honest man."

Unlike Jiang Xia, who, after living together with him in her previous life, was well-behaved for less than half a month before being tricked into sleeping with him by his sweet words.

“With Auntie around, he wouldn’t dare to do anything reckless.” Shen Ying glanced at Wang Ming again, a faint smile in her eyes. He really respected her and never forced her to do anything against her will.

Lin Yanwan hesitated for a moment before refusing, knowing that her clothes would be very see-through after being soaked in water.

It's strange how girls are. They feel shy when people see them wearing bikinis, but they don't feel ashamed at all when they're at the pool or the beach.

It's the same now. Even though it's your own swimming pool, is there really a difference between wearing regular underwear and a swimsuit when you go in?

Jiang Xia was puzzled, as some swimsuits clearly looked more revealing.

"Children, time to eat fruit."

As the group chatted and laughed, Li Weiya pushed a food cart out of the house, which contained fruit platters and juices, a very lavish spread.

Jiang Xia climbed out of the pool, his soaked shorts dripping water, but he didn't care. He picked up a slice of watermelon and started eating.

"Godmother, I suggest you buy one of these villas as soon as possible, otherwise the price will go up again," he said earnestly.

Li Weiya glanced at her son and Shen Ying. Today's experience at the villa in Jiangxia was quite good, and renting a house long-term was indeed not a problem. Most importantly, since they had decided to stay in the capital from now on, they should start thinking about housing.

Besides, our son will need it when he marries Yingying, won't he?

Buy a larger one; it'll be just right for three people to live in.

As for whether to buy a villa or a large apartment in a prime location where land is extremely valuable, that's something to consider.
