"I have something to do, we'll talk later." Ye Feng hung up the phone directly.

Chen Yiyi gripped her phone, trembling with rage. She had never seen such a shameless person!

"The sooner the better," Wu Feifei replied.

Ye Feng listened, picked up his teacup, and took a sip.

Ye Feng dropped the teacup from his hand, spilling tea all over himself.

"I can do it myself." Ye Feng smiled helplessly and took the tissue to wipe the tea stains off his clothes.

Wu Feifei stood to the side, looking embarrassed.

After cleaning up, Ye Feng raised his head again and looked at Wu Feifei.

"Team Leader Wu, I do have a question for you." Ye Feng's eyes were sharp.

Wu Feifei's heart skipped a beat, but she remained calm on the surface: "Go ahead."

"Judging from the plans and deployments you just mentioned, this is probably not as simple as dealing with an ordinary fraud group, is it?" Ye Feng leaned forward slightly, staring intently at Wu Feifei.

Wu Feifei lowered her eyes, concealing the panic in them: "Why do you say that?"

He paused, his tone meaningful, "Although Chen Yiyi is the team leader, Team Leader Wu, your identity is clearly more special."

Wu Feifei was silent for a moment, then looked up to meet Ye Feng's gaze and asked seriously, "Ye Feng, are you sure you want to know?"

Ye Feng nodded without hesitation: "Confirmed. This matter concerns Wu Dan's safety. If I don't know the inside story, I won't be able to cooperate with the operation."

Wu Feifei walked to the safe in the corner, entered the password, and took out a file bag.

She walked up to Ye Feng and handed him the file folder.

Ye Feng took the document bag, opened it, and saw that it was a liability agreement.

Although the content is brief, the consequences of signing it are extremely severe.

Without the slightest hesitation, Ye Feng took out a pen and signed his name on the agreement.

Wu Feifei looked at him with some surprise: "Ye Feng, do you know what you signed?"

"I understand." Ye Feng handed the signed agreement back to Wu Feifei, his tone calm. "If the mission fails, you can detain me indefinitely."

Wu Feifei became even more curious: "Since you know this, why don't you consider it?"

Ye Feng gave a wry smile: "Team Leader Wu, do you think I have a choice?"

He knew perfectly well that, regardless of the level of secrecy Wu Dan was currently involved in, the Ministry of State Security would not have implicated Wu Dan if there had been a second candidate.

Looking at the man before her, Wu Feifei couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration. She had thought Ye Feng would hesitate and weigh the pros and cons, but she hadn't expected him to be so decisive.

Ye Feng smiled faintly: "What kind of person?"

She thought for a moment before slowly speaking: "I think Mr. Ye is a very loyal person. He would go to great lengths for his friends."

Ye Feng smiled noncommittally.
