Yan Zhi laughed, feeling sorry for Bai Lian's actions. "Do you expect me to do this every time a woman appears in his life? That's all I have to say. Whether you continue kneeling or get up is up to you."

Leng Linli waited for a few more minutes, but there was still no movement.

Leng Linli had no choice but to exit the chat interface and look for the video of Yan Zhi at the Shengquan Hotel that he had saved before. If only she could be as clingy to him every day as she was that night.

When I opened the favorites page, I found a video saved there, and the cover image was also by Yan Zhi!

However, he was cold and stern, and had only saved one video.

As the video progressed, Leng Linli's expression grew cold and stern.

Bai Lian chuckled self-deprecatingly, cracks appearing on her delicate makeup: "Why? I was the one who met you first, I loved you more than she did, and I'm no less than Yan Zhi!"

"We grew up together since childhood. We're not blood-related siblings, but we're closer than blood-related siblings. I'm not a pervert, and I wouldn't have any improper thoughts about my own sister." Leng Linli said indifferently.

"My dad was hit and killed by a truck coming from the opposite direction while trying to save Uncle Leng. You said you would take care of me for the rest of your life." Bai Lian tried to grab Leng Linli's hand, but Leng Linli ruthlessly dodged her.

A slight smile played on Leng Linli's lips.

Should a son repay his father's debts?

Bai Lian's father saved Leng Linli's father, not him. If anyone should be repaying, it should be his father.

Emotional debts are something that Leng Linli cannot repay as a son to his father's debts.

Some people might think he lacks compassion and humanity, but putting morality aside, Leng Linli himself believes he is not wrong, and no one can hold him hostage!

He asked his grandmother to adopt Bai Lian because he felt sorry for her, not because he wanted her to be betrayed one day.

Leng Linli remained indifferent, unmoved by moral constraints. "I can give you everything materially, except for love. I didn't know your feelings before and spoiled you like a younger sister. Now I know, so let's not see each other again."

After saying that, Leng Linli turned and left, leaving behind his indifferent back.

Bai Lian was unwilling to give up and shouted at Leng Linli's back, "What is it about Yan Zhi that makes you so infatuated?"

Leng Linli didn't turn around or answer, and strode away.

But how could Bai Lian know that his feelings for Yan Zhi went far beyond mere obsession!

Twenty minutes later, Wen Shichu appeared at Bai Lian's door.

"Assistant Wen, is he really going to send me abroad?"

Bai Lian sat on the sofa, her eyes vacant, looking as if she had suffered some major blow.

Now that things have come to this, there is no other choice. Wen Shichu nodded: "Miss Bai Lian, if you do something wrong, you need to accept the punishment."
