He Chi kissed her and asked, "Are you looking forward to it?"
Thinking of the black dishes that He Chi had made before, Jiang Yining suddenly woke up.
She opened her eyes, thought for a long time, and said, "I'm afraid of diarrhea."
He Chi covered her mouth to stop her from speaking. "Teacher Jiang, after all, we are husband and wife sleeping in the same bed. Is this all the trust you have?"
Jiang Yining nodded without being able to speak.
After a moment of silence, He Chi spoke, "I'll let He Xiaohui test the poison first."
She pushed away He Chi's hand that was covering her lips and said, "No, He Xiaohui seems to have a bad stomach these past two days."
Jiang Yining can't eat first, and neither can He Xiaohui.
He Chi turned off the lamp on the bedside table and said in a quiet voice, "I'll eat."
In the darkness, Jiang Yining poked his chest with her finger and asked him, "Are you angry?"
He Chi moved his lips and said, "No."
"Really?"
He Chi hummed, "No, go to sleep."
Jiang Yining turned over and said, "If not, I'll go to sleep."
He Chi leaned towards her, hugged her and slept for a while. When Jiang Yining was about to fall asleep, he asked, "If you are angry, can you do something?"
Jiang Yining replied slowly, "You wish."
Her voice was already tinged with sleep, and she fell asleep in a few minutes.
The next morning, Jiang Yining learned about parenting in the study. He also ordered several authoritative books online and bought one for Ling Yue as well.
The man who vowed to make lunch for her last night called the housekeeping center near dinner time.
Jiang Yining went out to take a look and saw him wearing an apron and pouring out the prepared food with a frown on his face.
She picked up the chopsticks and said, "Let me try it."
He Chi stopped her, "Don't eat."
Jiang Yining still picked up a piece of meat and put it in his mouth, but he tasted it once and then spit it out.
The two looked at each other for a moment, and Jiang Yining suggested, "Why don't you just stop learning to cook?"
He Chi insisted, "No, I don't believe it."
"I'll help Auntie cook two dishes later. I can't do my homework by myself, but I should be able to copy it."
Jiang Yining: “…”
She ignored He Chi and took He Xiaohui to the study to do her own things.
During lunch, there were several dishes on the table that were 50% similar, and Jiang Yining tasted them one by one.
That’s good, at least I didn’t copy all the “homework” incorrectly.
Speaking of this, Jiang Yining thought of a student in the class who copied his deskmate's homework. Not only did he copy the homework, but he was so stupid as to copy his deskmate's name as well.
After Sunday, Jiang Yining returned to school and first raised the national flag with the students.
Ma Xing didn't come today, but his mother came to school during the first class.
Jiang Yining called the head teacher and explained what had happened. She also called Wang Zhiyao.
Seeing Ma Xing's mother's relentless insistence, the head teacher almost lost her temper. "Ma Xing's mother, although our teachers' salaries aren't particularly good, they're not so bad that we can't even afford a few meat buns."
"Teacher Jiang exchanged her own breakfast to prevent her students from feeling disappointed. This was only one time. I don't think she did anything wrong."
Jiang Yining looked at Wang Zhiyao, "Zhiyao, thank you, you go back to class first."
Wang Zhiyao was worried about Jiang Yining, "Teacher Jiang..."
Jiang Yining touched her hair and said, "It's okay. Neither you nor I are wrong. The teacher will take care of it. You can go back to class first."
Wang Zhiyao nodded, but when she reached the office door, she still looked back worriedly.
Ma Xing's mother objected, "Director, you just saw it too. Teacher Jiang is clearly partial to Wang Zhiyao. My Ma Xing is doing well as the class monitor, so why can't he be given the position?"
Hearing this, the head teacher and Jiang Yining both sighed tiredly.
Jiang Yining almost wondered if Ma Xing's mother had selective amnesia. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
