Jiang Yining took the card from Du Yingzhe and said, "He Chi said that his classmate always fails in starting a business, and he's worried that his confinement center will be closed down by the time we need it."
Du Yingzhe: “…”
"Then I'll take it first, and your cousin will give you another one when you need it."
Jiang Yining smiled and said, "Okay."
She sent Du Yingzhe out and swiped his elevator card for him. "These fruits were sent by Aunt He Chi. Can you give them to my cousin's wife to try?"
Du Yingzhe came here empty-handed, and now he was eating and taking things, which made him feel embarrassed.
Jiang Yining stuffed it into his hand and said, "It's for my cousin's wife, not for you. I just want you to help me take it back."
While the elevator was still going down, Du Yingzhe said, "Ningning, you're home alone. If you have anything, tell your cousin."
Jiang Yining nodded.
Less than half an hour after Du Yingzhe left, Jiang Yining received a call from Ying Yun.
She guessed that Du Yingzhe had said something to Ying Yun, "Aunt."
"Ningning, Yingzhe said your dad's people are bothering you again, right?"
Jiang Yining didn't say anything. "Aunt, I can handle these things myself. Don't worry too much. It's tiring enough for you to take care of your uncle alone."
Ying Yun was silent for a moment, then said, "I'll ask your dad out for a talk tomorrow."
Before Jiang Yining could speak, she continued, "I have something I need to confirm. Don't worry about it. Just focus on your work."
After hanging up the phone, Jiang Yining looked for Du Yingzhe, "Cousin, why did you tell my aunt this?"
"My mom called me to chat, and I accidentally let it slip."
Jiang Yining felt that Du Yingzhe was sometimes quite talkative, just like Chen Ran. "Don't tell He Chi. He's abroad now. Don't worry him."
The next afternoon, Ying Yun asked Jiang Wentao to meet her at a teahouse.
Seeing Jiang Wentao push the door and enter the private room, Ying Yun's attitude was cold. "Sit down. If you want tea, pour it yourself."
Not long after Du Ruo's death, Jiang Wentao remarried.
Ying Yun always had a doubt in her heart, but later Du Sheng had health problems, and she was busy taking care of Du Sheng and had no time to take care of the Jiang family.
In front of Ying Yun, Jiang Wentao seemed a little embarrassed. He had no intention of drinking tea. "Sister-in-law, I wonder what you want me to do?"
Ying Yun said in a calm tone, "Don't call me sister-in-law. You stopped calling me sister-in-law when you married Zhao Hong. Do you understand?"
She glanced at Jiang Wentao opposite her and asked, "What does it mean that Zhao Hong is following Fan Peihua?"
Jiang Wentao really didn't know about this. "When did it happen?"
Ying Yun sneered and said in a veiled tone, "Jiang Wentao, I used to think you were a very honest person, but now I can't tell whether you are telling the truth or not when you speak."
"I don't know if you were hiding yourself too well before, or if you've changed so much that I almost don't recognize you anymore."
Jiang Wentao didn't dare to refute Ying Yun's words and just sat there obediently.
He explained, “I really don’t know about this.”
Maybe he mentioned to Zhao Hong that he saw Fan Peihua in Yuhubancheng.
The breakfast shop's business is getting worse and worse, and the rent can no longer be paid.
He and Du Ruo had bought the breakfast shop before, but later he sold it to pay for Du Ruo's medical treatment and has been renting it ever since.
I guess Zhao Hong wanted to know if Jiang Yining had found a housekeeping job for Fan Peihua in Yuhubancheng.
I heard that the salary for domestic work in Yuhubancheng is very high.
Ying Yun didn't believe him, "Jiang Wentao, I'm warning you, don't bother Ningning again."
"If Du Ruo is gone, don't think that no one knows what you and Zhao Hong did before." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
