"I'm going to throw you out right now and let you be a stray cat again..."
Jiang Yining paused and called out to He Chi, "Did you pick up He Xiaohui?"
"Where did you find it? When did you find it?"
He Chi saw that Jiang Yining looked a little strange, so he put He Xiaohui down, returned to her side, and asked, "What's wrong?"
Jiang Yining asked again, "Did you pick it up in Lincheng?"
He Xiaohui was very resistant to strangers approaching it, but when she saw it for the first time, it came over and rubbed her hand.
Jiang Yining hadn't thought so much about it before, but when she heard He Chi say that he was the one who picked up He Xiaohui, she remembered that Jiang Wentao had said before that her cat had died of heatstroke.
She went out for training and when she came back the cat was gone. She didn't even get to see her cat for the last time.
He Chi hummed, "I found it in Lincheng. Two years ago, I came back and drove past a place. It was in the area where your family used to live."
The time and place are right.
Jiang Yining was a little excited, his voice trembling a little. He grabbed He Chi's arm and asked, "Do you have any old photos of it? Preferably when you first picked it up."
He Chi took out his phone and looked through the photo album, "I remember taking some photos."
While he was looking for photos, Jiang Yining said, "I also had a blue cat two years ago. It was the same age as He Xiaohui. When I came back from a training session, Jiang Wentao said my cat had died of heatstroke."
"I now suspect that He Xiaohui is my cat."
He Chi handed the phone to Jiang Yining, "Take a look at this, can you recognize it?"
Jiang Yining also dug out old photos and showed them to He Chi in surprise, "He Chi, look, isn't it the same one?"
He was a little thinner when he picked it up, but you could still tell it was very similar.
Jiang Yining is now very sure that He Xiaohui is her cat.
She looked at He Xiaohui, who was curled up on the sofa with his tail facing her.
Jiang Yining called out with a slightly trembling voice, "Le Le."
He Xiaohui turned around and meowed, then slowly walked towards Jiang Yining.
No wonder she felt that He Xiaohui was very familiar at the beginning, and it was so attached to her.
Jiang Yining picked up He Xiaohui. She couldn't hold back her tears and said, "I thought you were gone."
"Very good."
She looked up at He Chi, wanting him to give her confidence, "Hubby, do you think He Xiaohui is Lele?"
He Chi pulled her into his arms, lowered his head and kissed away the tears on her face, "Of course it is, otherwise it wouldn't respond when you called it Lele. If you don't believe me, call it something else later."
Jiang Yining felt that what He Chi said made sense.
She put He Xiaohui back to where he was just now, then returned to He Chi and nervously called out, "He Xiaohei."
He Xiaohui meowed.
Jiang Yining looked up at He Chi helplessly, "It should."
He Chi was amused by Jiang Yining. He suppressed his laughter and said, "At least you can change it to something that doesn't look so much like it. It's a cat. You call it He Xiaohei, but to it it sounds no different from He Xiaohui."
Jiang Yining said "oh" and tried several other names, but He Xiaohui didn't respond.
But when it hears "Le Le" or "He Xiaohui", it will look back at her like this.
Now Jiang Yining was finally 100% sure that He Xiaohui was her Lele.
He Chi felt that maybe it was fate. The poor kitten he picked up and brought home two years ago turned out to be the cat raised by his wife.
Looking at Jiang Yining happily hugging He Xiaohui and refusing to let go.
He Chi also accepted his fate.
As long as his wife is happy, it is not impossible for He Xiaohui to have a higher family status than him. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
