Ling's mother asked seriously, "Did you hear that?"

Ling Yue wiped away her tears and said stubbornly, "It's not something I can control, but I have moral bottom line. I won't destroy other people's families."

Ling's mother said helplessly, "Then hide yourself well and don't let anyone see it."

When He Chi came out of the shower, he saw Jiang Yining getting some water and taking medicine.

He walked over, thought for a moment, and asked, "Do you want to sleep together tonight?"

Jiang Yining was stunned and looked up at He Chi.

He had just finished taking a shower and casually put on a T-shirt as pajamas. He Chi's facial features were deep and sharp, giving people a very cold feeling, but when he wore light-colored clothes, he would reduce some of the coldness.

After taking a shower, Jiang Yining's mind became much clearer. When she saw He Chi, she couldn't help but think of the kiss in the master bedroom in the afternoon.

Her eyes were fixed on He Chi, and after admiring his "beauty" for a while, she forgot everything else and asked, "What did you just say?"

He Chi couldn't guess for a moment whether she really didn't hear it or was pretending to be confused. Seeing the clear question in her eyes, he patiently repeated it.

"I said, do you want to sleep together tonight? You're not fully recovered yet, and I can stay by your side and check on you at any time."

He took the initiative to approach, and Jiang Yining didn't want to refuse. She nodded and said, "Then take a pillow back."

After Jiang Yining finished speaking, she stopped looking at He Chi. She was afraid that if she looked at him again, she would reveal her inner thoughts.

When He Chi went to the guest bedroom to get a pillow, he felt more and more that something was wrong.

Jiang Yining was so shy that when he suggested sleeping together tonight, she didn't react at all, as if she didn't care whether he went back to the master bedroom or not.

It was still early, and Jiang Yining had slept all afternoon, so she wasn't sleepy at all. Coincidentally, the cat climbing frame she had bought online a few days ago had arrived.

Jiang Yining asked He Chi to go down and get the express. She originally wanted to help set up the cat climbing frame, but He Chi didn't let her, so she had to watch with He Xiaohui.

She pulled He Xiaohui's ears and asked him, "Do you like it?"

He Xiaohui didn't respond at all.

He Chi glanced at its lazy look, and thought that He Xiaohui and Jiang Yining were sometimes quite similar, both of them loved to be lazy. He curled his lips and smiled silently.

"If you don't like it, give it to the Persian cat downstairs."

He Xiaohui reacted strongly after hearing what He Chi said. Jiang Yining asked curiously, "Does He Xiaohui have a grudge against the Persian cat downstairs?"

He Chi said, "He Xiaohui competed with it for the same female cat, but lost."

Jiang Yining subconsciously looked at He Xiaohui.

He Chi said with a faint smile, "It has been sterilized."

Jiang Yining: “…”

She looked at He Xiaohui with pity in her eyes, feeling immense sympathy for him. He had failed in the competition with other male cats and had even been bitten...

He Xiaohui jumped off the sofa and ran to He Chi to provoke him.

He Chi lifted it aside and laughed, "Just because someone backs you up, you become so presumptuous, right?"

Jiang Yining didn't know if He Chi was trying to point out that she doted on He Xiaohui, so she turned her head away silently.

After setting up He Xiaohui's cat climbing frame, He Chi was called to the bar by He Jin.

Jiang Yining was looking forward to sleeping in the same bedroom with He Chi, but she couldn't suppress her nervousness when it came to sharing a bed with him for the first time.

After He Chi left, Jiang Yining breathed a sigh of relief.

It was almost twelve o'clock and He Chi had not returned yet, so Jiang Yining went back to his room to sleep first.

Less than half an hour after she lay in bed, she heard footsteps outside the door, followed by the sound of someone knocking on the door.
