Everyone saw that Jiang Yining's eyes were always on the man, and guessed that this man was her husband.
The Land Rover he drove was worth several million, and he was handsome and rich. Everyone began to wonder how Jiang Yining met her husband.
Jiang Yining walked closer and introduced him to everyone, "This is my husband He Chi, the Chi of galloping."
He Chi humbly shook hands with each of them and said, "Hello."
No one knew each other and didn't know where to start. Teacher Liu livened up the atmosphere. She smiled and praised, "Teacher Jiang, your husband is even more handsome than the male celebrity I like. He's a perfect match for you. Congratulations."
He Chi looked at Jiang Yining, a faint smile in his dark eyes, and then said to Teacher Liu, "Thank you for the compliment."
"That's not a compliment, I mean it."
Several teachers expressed their congratulations and chatted with each other for a while.
The male teacher with silver-rimmed glasses kept staring at him. After saying his congratulations, he pursed his lips and said nothing more. But when he looked at Jiang Yining, his eyes immediately became different.
He Chi cast his gaze on Yang Hui inconspicuously, keenly capturing the subtle changes in his eyes.
When everyone had finished talking, Jiang Yining mentioned to He Chi, "Teacher Liu and the others are going to Shi Youqing, right?"
He Chi immediately understood, "This is our first meeting, and I didn't bring any wedding candy. All your expenses tonight will be charged to my account. Please enjoy yourself together."
Teacher Liu declined, "We all appreciate your kindness, but since you're running a business, how can we afford to give you a free meal?"
Jiang Yining smiled slightly with his eyes curved, his tone carrying a hint of teasing, "Teacher Liu, don't refuse. This opportunity only comes once."
Hearing this, several teachers laughed.
"Okay, then we won't be polite with you. Congratulations again on your wedding."
Jiang Yining thanked them with a smile.
Jiang Yining and He Chi got into the car only after all their colleagues had left.
In the car, He Chi casually asked, "Are you familiar with the teacher wearing silver-rimmed glasses?"
Jiang Yining was replying to Zhang Qiao's WeChat message. When she heard He Chi's question, she recalled something.
Among the teachers just now, only two wore silver-rimmed glasses.
Jiang Yining replied subconsciously, "Are you asking about Teacher Liu? She teaches history. I get along quite well with her. We often make plans to have lunch together at a small restaurant near the school."
While waiting for the green light, He Chi turned to look at her. Seeing her curved eyes and faint smile, he asked, "Where's the other one?"
Jiang Yining lowered his head to type while answering He Chi's question, "The other one is Mr. Yang, the math teacher. I don't talk to him very often. He's a bit of a dull person and doesn't really get along with anyone."
She put away her phone and chatted with He Chi, "Originally, the school arranged for Teacher Yang to teach the graduating class of the third grade. He applied to the school to teach the first grade. I only found out about this yesterday."
"I lead the first class, and he leads the second class."
He Chi asked, "Did he also apply to lead the second class?"
"Then I don't know. After all, this is someone else's business. I'm not very familiar with Teacher Yang, so I don't want to ask too much."
After a moment, He Chi slowly said "oh".
Jiang Yining raised her eyes to look at him, only to see that the man had a gloomy expression and his deep black eyes were staring at her intently.
She asked confusedly, "What's the problem?"
He Chi pursed his lips slightly. Just then, the green light came on and he started the car. "Nothing, just thinking about something." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
