Chapter 228 Shen Jin embraced Yan Yu

"Ahhh, hurry up, hurry up! We can't be last!" The tomb raiders behind suddenly seemed to erupt, all rushing forward.

"Why don't we take the back path?" Yan Yu said to Shen Jin.

Upon hearing Yan Yu's words, Shen Jin glanced at the path, then at the pine tree that was now quite close, before looking back at Yan Yu.

"Are you sure we can get through this path?" Chen Jin asked.

"I think it should be possible." Yan Yu nodded.

Shen Jin felt helpless at Yan Yu's answer and pressed his forehead.

What do you mean by "should be able to"? What if you get lost and it doesn't work?

Afterwards, Shen Jin looked at the path again and finally decided to take it.

Anyway, they're bound to lose in the end if they don't leave, so they might as well give it a try.

The two tomb raiders were still in shock and didn't react for a long time.

Before long, the other tomb raiders arrived as well. They were all dumbfounded and startled to see that Shen Jin and Yan Yu had arrived.

They didn't see Shen Jin and Yan Yu on the way, so how come they're here now?

"You've arrived too?" Yan Yu continued to greet them with a smile.

"Who came first?" asked the later groups of tomb raiders.

The second group of tomb raiders pointed at Chen Jin and Yan Yu with a frustrated expression, making the rest of the tomb raiders even more bewildered.

Finally, everyone arrived, and the last group was even more surprised when they heard that the first place winner was Shen Jin and Yan Yu.

"What? When did you two get here? Weren't you still at the back?" The tomb raider looked incredulous.

So they kept asking Shen Jin and Yan Yu how they were able to arrive before them even though they couldn't see them.

"Because we flew here," Yan Yu said seriously as he untied the duct tape binding his and Shen Jin's legs.

Yan Yu simply smiled and remained silent.

Seeing Yan Yu keeping everyone in suspense, the others became even more anxious, wishing they could pry open his mouth and make him tell them what was going on.

Yan Yu slowly removed the tape before speaking, "Because we took the back path."

Upon hearing Yan Yu's words, the others were immediately stunned.

"Where is the shortcut?" one of the tomb raiders asked.

“Look.” Yan Yu simply pointed to the path they had just come back from.

Everyone followed Yan Yu's finger and saw a narrow path in the distance.

The crowd remained silent for a long time.

"No, that's not fair! You're breaking the rules by taking the back path!" The last tomb raider was the first to react and spoke up.

"Tch, so you're saying we broke the rules in the end? Did you stipulate that we couldn't take the shortcuts when we started playing?" Yan Yu smiled casually.

Indeed, they didn't say we couldn't take the path, and all they said was to come to this big pine tree, without specifying how to get there.
