Zhou Jue, unexpectedly bound to the "Myriad World Coordinate Anchoring System," finds herself becoming the "breaker of deadlocks" for Earth.
Vegetation, soil, and fruits from ...
Chapter 108 Don't stop me, these scumbags must die!
Inside the glass doors of Building A is a spacious lobby.
Directly opposite the entrance was a heavy iron gate.
Two drowsy guards sat behind the door, with a table in front of them and an old monitor on the table displaying surveillance footage.
On both sides of the hall, there was a row of plastic chairs, all of which were empty.
The only sounds in the space were the creaking of the ceiling fan overhead and the dense, tidal wave of noise coming from upstairs.
Zhou Jue and Cheng Gan, like two invisible wisps of air, passed straight through the lobby without disturbing anyone. Instead of taking the elevator, they went to the entrance of the stairwell.
They walked silently up the stairs, step by step.
With each floor you go up, the keyboard noise becomes clearer.
Upon reaching the landing on the second floor, Zhou Jue could even hear a man's desperate shout coming from behind the tightly closed fire door.
"Get the hell out of here! Do you think you're on vacation? If you don't meet your targets today, don't even think about eating dinner tonight! You hear me?!"
No one answered.
There was only a more rapid and chaotic sound of keyboard typing.
It was as if behind the door were not a group of people, but a group of livestock being driven by whips, frantically scrambling for food on the brink of death.
Cheng Gan's steps paused almost imperceptibly for a moment, then quickly returned to their steady pace.
Zhou Jue did not stop.
She simply forced down the nausea that was starting to churn in her chest.
The two continued upwards.
Third floor.
From behind the door came suppressed sobs and a woman's desperate pleas.
"Please, please let me call home. I promise I won't say anything wrong. I'll just say I'm doing fine here... My mom has a heart condition, she'll worry..."
"Smack!"
A crisp, loud slap.
"Make a phone call? What a pipe dream! I have no idea whether your mother lives or dies! You'd be better off using that energy to lure a couple more 'piglets' over here! If I hear any more of your nonsense, I'll cut your tongue out!"
The man's curses were extremely vicious.
The woman's crying stopped abruptly.
Zhou Jue's fist clenched quietly at her side. Her nails dug deep into her palms, causing a slight sting, which prevented her from kicking the door open.
calm.
Now is not the time.
Fourth floor.
"Squeak—"
The fire door in the stairwell was suddenly pulled open from the inside.
Zhou Jue and Cheng Gan froze in an instant. Like geckos, they clung tightly to the innermost shadow of the stairwell corner, their breaths catching in their throats.
A tall, thin man with a cigarette dangling from his lips walked out of the door, cursing under his breath.
"Damn it, another one who can't read the room, daring to talk back to me."
Behind him followed a short, fat man carrying a black rubber baton stained with blood.
"Alright, drag him to the toilet to sober up. Tell him that if it happens again, it won't be as simple as just a couple of electric shocks," the short, fat man said impatiently.
The tall, thin man nodded, turned and went back inside. Soon after, he came out dragging a person who looked like a dead dog.
He was a very young man, in his early twenties, wearing a torn plaid shirt, soaking wet, his hair disheveled and plastered to his forehead, his face covered in wounds, and blood still trickling from the corner of his mouth.
He seemed to have lost consciousness, letting the tall, thin man drag him by the ankle, his head slamming against the door frame and steps with a series of thuds.
Zhou Jue and Cheng Gan stood in the shadows, watching this scene unfold.
The invisibility talisman concealed their figures and scents, and the two thugs were completely unaware of it. They dragged the unconscious young man into the public restroom at the other end of the stairwell.
Soon, the sound of running water and the unrestrained laughter of the thugs could be heard from the toilet.
"Give him a little more water. Damn, this kid's got some tough bones. I had to shock him a few times before he calmed down."
"Even the toughest bone will be ground to powder here. Just wait, tomorrow he'll be begging us for a computer so he can generate revenue for the company."
Zhou Jue glanced at Cheng Gan and made a "throat-slitting" gesture to her.
Cheng Gan shook his head slightly.
Taking action now would alert the enemy. The people in the monitoring room would likely notice something amiss.
Tolerate.
Just bear with it a little longer.
Once the source is cut off, none of these people will be able to escape.
A few minutes later, the two thugs came out of the toilet, still discussing where to go for drinks and fun that night. They didn't even glance at the young man who had been thrown into the sewage-filled toilet stall before they went back to the work area arm in arm.
The fire door slammed shut with a loud bang.
Zhou Jue moved as if to go to the restroom to check on the young man.
Cheng Gan grabbed her.
"Let's get down to business first." She suppressed her emotions and said in a low voice, "We can save one, but not everyone. Only by cutting off the snake's head can we save everyone."
Zhou Jue nodded silently, abandoning his original plan.
The two continued upwards.
Fifth floor, sixth floor...
Each level is like a step in hell.
It was filled with despair, pain, numbness, and sin.
As Zhou Jue's heart sank little by little as the levels rose, it was then reignited by an uncontrollable rage.
What I saw online before was just the tip of the iceberg, and even what was shown in the movies was less than a tenth of what was here!
Despair, pain, numbness, guilt... these words all seem pale and powerless.
Something is awakening in Zhou Jue's blood.
At the entrance to the stairwell on the seventh floor, two heavily armed guards stood. Unlike the thugs downstairs who were acting nonchalantly, they stood ramrod straight, their eyes scanning the surroundings warily.
This is the brain and heart of this sinful park.
Dormitories, canteen, the boss's office, and most importantly... the monitoring center.
From here, you can see every corner of the entire park.
Zhou Jue and Cheng Gan bypassed the guards and quietly entered the corridor on the seventh floor.
The corridor is not long. On one side is the dormitory area, and at the end of the other side is the door with "Manager's Office" written on it. The door is equipped with a combination lock and a fingerprint reader.
The map drawn by Fatty Wang Dafu was correct; that was Kun Ge and Leopard Ge's hideout, and also the location of the monitoring room.
At the entrance, there were two guards standing, and an infrared camera was mounted on the wall in front of them.
Forcing our way in will only alert the enemy.
Cheng Gan's eyes met his, filled with inquiry and restraint.
Zhou Jue understood.
Retreat first.
She used all her strength to shift her gaze away from the door.
The two returned the way they came and infiltrated Building B next door in the same way again.
The scene here is no different from Building A, and even more insane.
One by one, the "piglets" sat in front of the computer with lifeless eyes, mechanically typing on the keyboard and reciting the fraudulent lines they had long since memorized.
Behind them, thugs wielding stun batons patrolled back and forth.
A girl was being dragged by the hair and slammed hard on the keyboard by a supervisor, apparently because she hadn't met her performance targets.
"Bang!"
The girl didn't cry, or even make a sound. She just numbly raised her head, the blood seeping from her forehead staining the chat window on the screen.
Zhou Jue felt as if a huge rock was blocking his chest, and every breath he took was accompanied by a burning pain.
After exploring the two main buildings, their target was reduced to just two more locations.
storehouse.
And... the water dungeon.
The warehouse's iron gate was secured with three large padlocks, but the smell emanating from the cracks was gun oil.
Zhou Jue took out a miniature fiber optic endoscope from his spatial storage and carefully peered through the crack in the door.
The scene displayed on the screen made both of them stop breathing.
Rows of gun racks, neatly filled with AK-47s.
In the corner, there were several wooden crates about half a person's height, with markings for grenades and bullets printed on them.
This is more than just a scam park.
It is also an independent kingdom with its own arms.
The final destination: the water dungeon.
It is located at the very bottom of the entire park, dark and damp, and you can smell the stench of rust, blood and decay even without getting close.
There are no guards here.
Or rather, there is no need for guards.
Because those imprisoned here have long lost the strength to escape.
Using the invisibility talisman, they passed through an unlocked iron gate, and the scene before them once again fueled their anger.
That's not a prison cell.
That's a slaughterhouse.
In each pool, bodies that were no longer recognizable as human were submerged, with only the heads of many people sticking out of the filth floating on the surface, barely clinging to life.
On the wall hung a barbed iron whip, a blackened branding iron, and pliers stained with dark red blood.
A faint groan came from the corner.
Zhou Jue's gaze shifted over there.
It was a man, suspended by chains with his feet off the ground, his body ripped and mangled from being whipped, not a single patch of flesh unscathed.
Beneath him was a bucket of water.
One drop, one drop.
Water, mixed with blood, was dripping from his wound into the bucket.
At that moment, Zhou Jue's anger was completely extinguished.
No.
It wasn't extinguished; it was compressed and forged into a blade without heat, yet powerful enough to cut through anything.
She looked at Cheng Gan, her voice devoid of any emotion, eerily calm.
"I want them all to die here."
"Before I die, I want to experience all these punishments."
The night was completely deep.
The killing intent was already boiling over.
