After deciding to aim for the Golden Tree Award, Yu Nian began searching for inspiration everywhere, but unfortunately, several days had passed without any results. Even Luo Sheng, who was usually good at this, was having the same problem.

Yu Nian crumpled up another piece of paper in frustration. Suddenly feeling a bit stuffy in the office, she decided to go for a walk.

The world outside the window is bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, with warm orange clouds drifting freely in the vast sky, everything so gentle and bright.

Yu Nian stretched her aching joints and felt lighter when she saw the beautiful scenery outside the window. She moved her chair, packed her things, and decided to go out for a walk.

She had just closed the door and hadn't even turned around when she heard someone calling her.

"Nian Nian".

She was stunned for a moment, then a bright sense of surprise and joy welled up in her heart, bringing a surge of excitement and emotion.

She knew that voice all too well.

She turned around and stood there quietly. Before she could take a step, the man walked towards her, stepping on the few remaining rays of the setting sun.

Step by step, he pleased her greatly.

The warm touch on her wrist brought Yu Nian back to her senses. She smiled at the person who came to her, making no attempt to hide the excitement that was about to burst from her heart.

Yu Nian casually shook off Song Ci's hand, her lips still curving upwards.

How did you know I wanted to come see you?

With a playful and lively quality in her bright, sparkling peach blossom eyes, Song Ci was caught off guard and her mind was shaken by Yu Nian's smile.

How did you know I was coming to see you?

Song Ci repeated the question, mimicking her tone.

"You just happened to be heading out, and I just happened to be arriving. The scenery is so beautiful, shall we go take a look together?"

Yu Nian laughed: "Granted."

The two went out hand in hand. When they got downstairs, Yu Nian realized that she had forgotten to bring her mask. She suddenly remembered the paparazzi she had caught at her door last time. After thinking it over, she decided to go back and get a mask.

"I forgot my mask, Song Ci. Wait for me, I'll go upstairs and get one."

Just as she was about to turn around and walk back, her hand was grabbed.

"No need, I've already brought it. Turn around, and I'll put it on you."

Song Ci's hands were beautiful. They didn't usually have much visual impact, but now, with her well-defined knuckles hooking the thin strap of her black mask, they were exceptionally attractive.

After reconciling with Luo Sheng a while ago, Luo Sheng, feeling guilty about the past, had her sign with the entertainment company under the Luo family and found a reliable agent to help her.

She took off her high heels, gently opened the door to Luo Sheng's office, and found him standing by the window with his back to her, playing the guitar. She then tiptoed up behind him and shouted.

Startled, Luo Sheng didn't recover in time and didn't turn around. Instead, he gripped the guitar that was about to fly away and chuckled softly.

"Niannian, what are you talking about? What kind of adaptation of the song 'Surprise' came up with...?"

As Luo Sheng spoke, he turned around, but his words abruptly stopped when Bai Jiu's face came into view.

"Jiu Jiu, what brings you here?"

Seeing Bai Jiu's increasingly pale face, Luo Sheng quickly put down his guitar and grabbed her hand to try to comfort her.

He was also annoyed; how could he have misheard the voice just now… He thought it was Yu Nian coming to discuss the music arrangement with him…

The moment Bai Jiu heard the word "Nian Nian," her face turned pale. She didn't know if Luo Sheng had done it unintentionally or not, but the throbbing pain in her heart told her that even if Luo Sheng had done it unintentionally, she still couldn't easily let it go.
